The biggest club is Las Pulgas. Inside there are like 5 different salons, each of which play their own music. On weekends there usually is a cover and live band. Beers are cheap like $15 mn. Las Pulgas does attract the older crowd as well though, with plenty of patrons into their 40's and 50's. Therefore, it carries a stigma with some of the local younger chicas as a place that's somewhat uncool. A block down is a club called El Copeo. On weekends $100 mn cover and $15 beers. Live band. Not as many older folks. You can also try Plaza Zapato, which is a short cab ride away in Zona Rio. It's a plaza with maybe 30 or so small to medium sized bars. Located a couple blocks away from Plaza Zapato is probably your best chance at civie action, a club called LE Conteiner. $100 cover and $15 beer like Copeo. Pretty big, two story club with large outdoor section. Loaded with hot civies. If you want to hit something more upscale, Alebrije is your main option. It's a big club with bottle service and lots of dressed up hot civies. Everything is more expensive here obviously. Paseo Chapultec and its surroundings also have upscale options such a Mab and some other clubs which I can't remember. There is also Cavally in Zona Rio. These last 3 places are somewhat snobbier. For more casual, drunk college chicas I'd recommend LE Conteiner although it does have its fair share of douchebags you will have to contend with.

I got lucky with a civie at Cocobongo a few weeks ago and ended up back in my hotel. The later the better I noticed as the chicas get drunker and more approachable LOL.

When I travel to Tijuana, I stay for 4-5 days because of costs and distance. It can get a little boring during some days and am looking for things to do.

I have thought of checking out Rosarito for the day. Are there any bars worth checking out besides Papas and Beers? Anyone aware of a bus from Tijuana to Rosarito?

Ask around, there are van taxis that go there frequently. About a year ago I paid about 40 pesos from Tijuana to Rosarito and 80 from Rosarito yo tijuana. Wish I could be of more help but there are definitely ways there, another but more expensive option is Uber which is about 15-20 dollars one way.

Does anyone know of a pharmacy / liquor store for some supplies after the trolley ends at the border.

I hate to start looking around Tijuana after 7 pm if I can avoid it.

I am thinking condoms, a bottle of liquor. I never find decent priced liquor in Tijuana although I also do not leave the tourist area.

In Tijuana you'll either need to get out of ZN and Centro to get a better liquor selection / price, or go to the supermercados like Soriana on 3rd and Revu. That's still safely inside the tourist area. I know of no pharmacies near the trolley stop. I *think* that Soriana has a pharmacy, but I can't be positive. I never go in there for medicine. Costco is just barely outside the "tourist area" and does have a pharmacy.

What's the big deal about looking around Tijuana after 7?

I like to use the HSBC ATM machine in there, free standing right by that pharmacy section of the Soriana store. That Soriana store has a fairly large liquor section on the north side of the store. I am not sure if there are condoms sold in the Sorianna store, I've never looked there for condoms.

Two of the things that I often buy in that grocery store are single-serve fruit juice boxes and Mexican cheesecakes in the bakery section. Sorianna has a few of the fruit juice flavors under the "Soriana" brand for 2. 9 pesos each. That's about the equivalent of 15 cents a box for 200 ML fruit juice boxes of mango, peach (durazno} red and green apples (manzana). Other popular fruit juice favors are also stocked in juice boxes in that grocery store, like grape (uva), but only packaged by other brands and costing nearly twice as much. The Mexican cheescakes are pretty cheap there. Just 35 pesos (about $2) for a full 8' or 10" pie. Their cheesecake is not nearly as sweet or rich as the cheesecake typically sold in the United States, but the chicas like it a lot, especially topped with whipped cream. Often the women will enjoy a slice with me up in my room, and take the rest of the pie, and a few juice boxes with them to share with their children, amigas, or significant others.
