You and I are on the same wavelength. If I want attitude / bitchiness I would just stay in the States. The one on one chemistry with the girl is paramount. Aside from complete pigs, I'd take a plain sweetheart over a gorgeous **** anyday. Except if you are into a revenge f*ck sort of thing.

Your description of Curitiba is promising if I am ever get wanderlust. But before then, I am staying my ass in Rio/Sao Paulo where the pickins are plentiful.

I did find one club in the centro part of the city that is open on Sunday. It is within Walking distance of Hotel Grand Rayon. However, I do not remember the name of the place. Best Thing to do is hail a taxi from your hotel and explain to him what you want in a combination of your best Portugese and sign language. That is how I found the place. A word of advice: Do not try to find it on foot.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I have never been to Sauna Imperial and have never heard talk of it except here in the forum. Your best bet is to stay somewhere in the central part of the city. Grand Hotel Rayon is a good place to stay and I have stayed there many times so I highly recommend it. From there you are just two blocks away from Club Sex.

For restaurants, if you like beef, I highly recommend Grimpa's Steak House. It is a Brazilian style BBQ and the food there is fantastic. It was opened by a Brazilian soccer star who has since retired. He is opening another facility in Miami, Florida this month. I am sure it will be a big hit.

For a late night snack after some serious mongering, the Babalonia restaurant (only a few minute taxi ride from Hotel Rayon) is a great place to go and has outdoor and well as indoor seating. It is open 24 hours and you can even pick up a chica there or a non-working girl if you can speak a little Portugese. I don't speak hardly any and have had some luck with a couple of 9s there. However, it is best to go there with a Brazilian friend or two to help break the ice. I always do.

The average cost of bang in Curitiba I'd say is around $100 for a couple hours. I have had a lot of success negotiating my own terms at most of the clubs. I can usually talk a girl into spending the entire night with me at the hotel for around $100 to $150. I have even been able to negotiate a deal for an all-inclusive week with a girl for $500 - $600. This means she stays with me at the hotel for the whole week I am there, goes to dinner, concerts, movies, social events, and all the sex I can handle. In other words, a true GFE experience. This is how I met the girl I will soon marry at the end of this month.

I am an expert in negotiating as this is a requirement for the work I do (and I am proud to add that I have NEVER worked in sales so all you sales guys out there can bite me) ! : - )

I was in Curitiba about a month ago. Very cool city in every meanings of the word. Lots of beautiful eye candy strolling around in the city. If one were to invest some time in this city, one would have a great time there.

The options are numerous in Curitiba. I bought at one of the boutiquins a small newspaper called "guia das acompanhantes de Curitiba", a monthly issue. Went to a boite called Casa Nova in Cristo Rei. Very overpriced place. Entry is 50 reais which includes 2 local drinks. Upstairs, there's a club/strip club type of place where girls, typical curitibanas, tall, blonde but some morenas and a couple of mulatas too, are dancing in very sexy attire. One tall blonde gaucha came and sat with me, explained me how it works there. We had a good time together that I decided to take her out to the hotel with me. She demanded 50reais for the taxi while the taxi ride from the boite to the hotel was less than 8 reais. I threw a 10 at her and she looked surprised and arrogantly left. Great riddance, no need for that kind of attitude.

Has anyone had that type of experience before? How do you detect that type of behaviour while you're having a good time with a garota in a club?

Just before going to Casa Nova, I passed in front of the infamous Sauna Imperial but it was closed on a friday night at 11:30pm.:( Just besides it there is a regular club, with a line up of gorgeous curitibanas that made my jaws dropped.

One last thing about places in Curitiba, there seems to be lots of casas particulares where you are presented with a line up of girls to chose, those usually charge 60 to 100 reais per hour. Your best bet and source for finding them in Brasil is to just ask the cab drivers. Just hop into a cab and ask the driver about casas particulares and you'll be in one with a nice selection of sexy girls in no time. Gotta love Brasil!!!:)

Yes, probably everyone has. You handled it exactly right. The minute a garota asks for money up front OR changes the terms of the agreement, get rid of her immediately. This one did both, meaning she was nothing but trouble. If you had agreed and let her stay, I guarantee she would have bolted as soon as you got your first nut and would have reneged on TLA. Good for you.

As to how to predict it, there's no surefire way. This type of thing doesn't happen all that often in Brazil, but it does happen. The one time I was in Curitiba I used an escort service on two consecutive nights and specified over the phone the services I wanted. The first time I forgot to mention DFK, thinking that was a given (this is Brazil, after all!), and sure enough the girl did everything but DFK--the only time this has ever happened to me in Brazil. The next night I complained, and the mamasan said the customer needs to specify that he wants DFK, because not all girls will do it. The second time I got everything I wanted. So, to answer your question, the only way to be sure to avoid being burned is to avoid FLs entirely and limit yourself to escort services and termas, and negotiate services upfront. (I don't remember if there are termas in Curitiba.) Maybe other mongers will have other suggestions.

You certainly did the right thing. Yes I have had the same thing happen to me. My experience has taught me to go for the quiet ones. They usually are the best once you make the deal. The girl you had is most likely fairly well off and just doesn't care. She is probably in the scene just to make coke money.

On my little Brasil trip I am planning to go to Rio, Sao Paulo but also Curitiba and Floripan.

How does it work with those motels ? I have seen some good escorts on the [url]www.topcuritiba.com.br[/url] and other sites. But on these sites they also advertise some motels for pleasure. Do you meet the girl at such a motel? Or do you go to a motel and does some contacting happen from that motel?

I am not too sure that getting girls over to the hotel where I will be staying are too keen on getting extra guests over.
