During your Boom Boom and her crying, she is stopping to answer her pimp's cellular phone calls! . Anyway, she leaves quickly.

Martinis was full of girls in the disco, the new happy man bar run by an ex sharkeys moto is jumping with some nice girls including a stunner from, yeah you guessed it-kompong cham.

I answer to myself here just to help others who might have my same doubt.
In PP there is now a decent supply of ATM machines, very few compared to Pattaya where there's one each 100meters, but enough to draw your money with reasonable comfort. Both Canadian Bank and ANZ Royal have their ATM machines. In Sorya Market building (it's a 6 story building near Central Market) there are 2 Canadian Bank ATM machines ,one on the ground floor and one on first floor, serving VISA and therefore also PLUS ATM cards (so if you have a Bangkok Bank ATM like me it does work in PP).
On the free PP map you should find in your hotel hall also all ANZ Royal ATM locations are marked with a small light blu diamond.They also serve VISA and PLUS circuits.
Now if just also the sex scene was easy as banking....

Sorry to say, but my first impressions were that those girls did not look like humans. However Cambodia is one of the best mongering place thanks to the aggressive Viet girls.

I would avoid Vietnam due to strong anti-prostitution policies that give rise to lots of scams, abuses, and drive up the price of pussies. It's not worth the time, money and hassle to hunt for pussies in Vietnam.

I used to go to Cambodia frequently, but stopped soon after K11 was closed. Nowadays it is a very mediocre destination, though certainly much better than Vietnam, which as OWL has pointed out, is a hassle and rip-off. He is also correct that if one does go to Cambodia, it is best to focus on the Vietnamese girls, who provide, generally, good service. For the most part the Kmers do not, and are also very condom-insistent.

Yeah, I could confirm ripoffs (as I posted some of those beware of ripoff cautions), but they all occurred at those St 63 brothels. I have found some exceptions to this but they are the exception.

Personally, I will always use a condom, and so feel that you are only putting yourself at risk, just do not be under mis-apprehension about the majority of the Vietnamese girls that find themselves in PP. If you are always paying some exhorbitant sum to ensure a virgin bed-partner then maybe my opinion would change but, in general, it does sound like a great big risk to not use a condom in PP.

I'm really interested to understand other people's viewpoint in relation to overpayment in Phnom Penh.

I have been visiting PP for a few years now and have become accostemed to the $10 ST and $20 LT framework of charges. Requested charges seem to have been increased in the last year or two and now seem to rival the salary achieved by top ministers of the country.

What do we think is causing this and what can we do to stop the charges rising still further?

On my last visit I was surprised to hear of a Belgian fellow who was buying $600 phone for a girl and was then going to visit her brother who had 'some financial problems'. As the Belgian had only been in the country for two days the money involved was fantastic in the extreme.

When I visited Golden Vine Bar the girls were asking for $40 / $50 LT and a bar fine of $10. This seems higher than the expected norm but may be becoming standard.

Am I alone in thinking that we should be trying to keep the rates down to a level commensurate with the average wage for the country?

What thoughts do the rest of you guys have?
