been to JKT last weekend, but nothing much to report. Stayed the first 2 nights with my favorite regular. One afternoon through the bars in Kota, nice but not sensational. One evening in 30, but almost empty, most likely because of the muslim new year. Unfortunately I couldn't discover anything new.
But JKT has become pretty expensive in the past 1-2 years, isn't it? Or is it normal inflation?

There are just as many "free range ayam" as ever. I agree with Ekspat who says the price has risen somewhat but I think that view depends to some extent on your "base" currency. You can still spend all night with a girl who would charge 250 USD for an hour in UK and only pay 30 - 50 USD (and get infinitely better "service" in every respect).

The pics below are very small and I apologise for thats the best my old Panasonic x300 (it was brand new then) could do back in 2004. But these two gals didn't ask for anything other than a good time and plans to go shopping the next day ("baby, I need a new mobile pone, baby"). As I remember it, we gave 'em about 200,000 rupiah each in the morning that was roilled up and slipped into their purse. Plus we gave another 50,000 each for taxi. I think we picked them up at a shopping mall, had soem drinks and dinner and then fucked 'em all night - swapping rooms to swap girls. I've gotten into this discussion with several senior ISG members and we've agreed to disagree for the most part and have remained friends. At the risk of distracting the horny bastards in this forum, I thought I'd roll this pebble and see what y'all think.

Granted that ISG is mostly about organised prostitution and we've all played our part in ensuring the trade goes from strength to strength. Given a choice, however, I'd always go for the freelancers.

True lah, chasing freelancers leaves much more to chance and you're more likely to waste time and money than with pimped birds but there is something about the chase, the GFE experience (90% sure if you treat her well) and even a slightly dubuious moral arguement that favours the freelancers in my opion.

We've all heard stories of young girls being sold by their families, duped by vicious conmen, etc. Rather than deal with the guilt that comes with that dark scene, I'd rather encourage those birds out there who have an entreprenurial streak. In my opinion, Indonesia and Sri Lanka are two asian countries with more than the average asian country's share of free range ayam. Perhaps, Indonesia more than Sri Lanka (even though I'd had plenty in Colombo).

Perhaps Jackson will consider starting a new thread dedicated to mall hunting etc. Indonesia is one country that merits it!

I think you should define "free-lancers" and "mall-hunting" first.

Is a girl that daily goes to the mall/bar to be picked up, a free-lancer? Probably (?) there will be no mama/papasan to force them to accept any monger. But in my opinion, a free-lancer is someone that goes to those places irregularly for moonlighting.

Mall-hunting: is it a hunt when you go to mall's where those so-called freelancers are present and in fact are wandering in there, waiting for you to invite them?

To tell the truth, I go to the malls regularly to guide mallhunters, but I always tell them what my thoughts are.

Maybe we should ask for a separate thread containing reports about fucking amateurs?

First, you are not all that far from Atrium Mall, if you are into mall-hunting. The malls at Mangga Dua might also be good for mall-hunting, don't know.

One short block on your left is a side alley where Kartika and Berlian Spas are both located. The landmark is the Suisse Bakery on the corner (good "kelapa" or coconut buns here). You should also be able to see signs for both MPs from Jl. Hayam Wuruk.

If you don't turn into the small alley, but instead you keep walking past the Suisse Bakery, the next alley on the left includes Mongo Mas Spa and a couple of other MPs rarely mentioned on this board.

Keep walking down Jl. Hayam Wuruk for two more blocks; in front of you will be the stairs to access the Transjakarta bus station. Left of the stairs is a bland-looking mall with a great cafe (Ooh La La) on the ground floor that is open 24 hours and has lots of interesting black-and-white photos of Jakarta on the walls. To your immediate left is an alley which quickly leads to the infamous Stadium Spa and Night Club.

I've left out several other interestings places (such as the famous Beverley Hills Spa near the Kota train station, where you can have sex with a Chinese girl for 1.5 million rupiah), but the above should get you started. I was drawing a distinction between those women who get to keep what they make off their bodies as opposed to those who work for a pimp or some sort.

Most of the freelancers in Colombo will not go out with you at night as they have regular families. They go home at night but they entertain for a fee during the day. They have bills to pay and sex gives them a helping hand. Lots of 'em work at beauty parlors, hotels or as sales promotion girls (SPGs). Not unlike the Jakarta I remember.

I think tipping 50k to each girl is going a bit overboard. I generally do as the locals do, and I don't believe that any of them tip, as a rule of thumb. Saying this, I did tip 50k last night at the LA club when I was out with JAD, Menteng and PB. Superb service from Abba, a 20 something fucklet with a golden plated tongue. A great BBBJ, AR and FJ were all part of an unhurried session.

For FL's you take to your hotel, you may be out some taxi money, but not much more. I really thing that the room/lady fee covers the costs and tips should only cover special requests or performances.

About ten years back, I picked up some excellent freelancers at the Thunderbird Lounge/Bar/Club. Does that still exist? I remeber it not being very far from Hotel Indoneisa - a gov't hotel that was supposedly 5 star but it was crappy five star for sure. Fortunately, it was very girl friendly. The concierge helped me throw out one bird who was getting a bit vocal after a few drinks.

On some of the highly active Bhasa Indonesian boards, there are tons of reports from places like LA Bar with detailed information including what is paid. Most of the reports indicate tips in the 50-100K range. Are there some locals who stiff the girls? I am sure they are, but to suggest that this is the norm does not coincide with what I read on those sites nor with the behavior of the locals I hang out with.

Obviously tipping is up to each individual. Personally, I am not going to stiff a girl who gives a genuine effort to please. I mean what do these girls get from the 220K room fee, 90K? You would probably think nothing of buying a Blok M girl a whiskey cola for 50K to just shake her ass next you. Of course, If I do get a girl with a bad attitude who doesn't try to please I will not give a tip. Luckily, in Jakarta I can count on my the fingers of one hand that has happened in the brothel bars. Also, on occasion I have gotten my world totally rocked and tipped 100K as well. Once again tipping is a personal issue, but claiming that you are adhering to local custom is a false characterization of local behavior and IMHO a real cheap charlie move.

Checked in late evening and asked for in romm massage.

Gita arrived for a decent massage ( including happy end -HJ ).

At 11 PM I jumped into the CJ's to see the action - so so.

At 10 minutes to 2 AM ( they close at 2 AM ,I went there again and it was still packed with girls who didnt want to loose the slight chance to get some income
I saw Ita, a little mature lady, she asked for 600K and we agreed on 400K.
