For what it's worth.
The last time I was in Manado city was about ten years ago. I did try to find mongering places and found some.

At that time there were no taxi's in Manado, so I chartered an angkot to show me the places.

First there was this place, where you had to climb some steep stairs. It was a collection of sleezy huts.

Next there were two places with rather beautiful girls. The driver called them Merpati and Mandala located at the opposite of each other. Stewardesses? I don't know, but the girls are certainly of stewardess quality.

Then the strip along the sea, the boulevard (bulevar). I was lucky enough to find a young girl over there.

Last, I just asked the driver to find me a girl.

I think the last one is still the same. I mean you can ask any taxidriver (are there taxi's now in Manado?) to find you a girl or bring you to places where the girls are.

I have not seen any recent reports on possibilities in the cities of Banjarmasin and Balikpapan located on Kalimantan (Borneo). Would greatly appreciate any comments or hints.

It's been a couple of years since I left but there were plenty of options in BPN.

The Borneo Bar in the Dusit Hotel was very popular with heaps of girls available. I've heard that it has gone down hill recently so you will have to check it out yourself for up to date info. Pinisi nightclub at the back of the Bahtera hotel is good after dark with plenty of take aways available. There is also a kareoke lounge downstarirs. Joy's and Martha's Bars (they are side by side) also had plenty of options.

During the day the Balikpapan Plaza (infront of the Bahtera) is packed with girls. Try the food hall around lunch time or leave your contact details with the sales girls for a meeting after work. The Dusit offers a good massage with FS available as an extra option. The quality at the other massage parlours is pretty low. Another opton is to lounge around the pool at any of the better hotels in town. The girls will come to you if you are a new face in town.

For a legit massage go to the Blue Sky Hotel. Allow half a day for the full offering (massage/spa/sauna etc.)

i'd be interested to hear if these places are still around. can you tell us more about them? what were they, brothels? karoke? clubs? fishtank massage? did you hire a girl from there? any idea where they were located? (sorry, i know it was a long time ago but you've got me curious)

To start with, I don't know if those places are still there. They were kind of brothels, but like I wrote the last time, the girls were rather classy. I also recall that they were rather expensive. Thinking about it, I guess those were "rumah kos".

I don't know where they were located, but the driver took me there on my hunt for company.

Hmmm, rumah kos named "merpati" and "mandala", filled with hot stewardess-quality young women... You dont suppose he actually took you to the between-flight lodgings for those airlines and negotiated an ST rate from an actual stewardess do you? I'd tip damn well for that kind of sevice from an angkot!

Could be too good to be true i suppose.

I'd say: the proof is in the finding. Why don't you ask an older taxidriver (though there were no taxi's at that time, maybe an ex-angkotdriver-now taxidriver) about those places. And don't give up when the first one says he doesn't know. My credibility is in your hands now.

I might have given you the impression that they were lodgings for the stewardesses, but, like I wrote, I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe no. And don't forget, it was about ten years ago!

Thinking about it, I might have posted about it in the forum in latter days. Pity the archives don't go back that far.

just to be clear, it's not you i doubt, but the taxi driver! i'm sure you wouldn't post something you hadn't experienced, i've followed your recomendations before and they've always been spot on. anyway i'm not sure when i'll be back in manado but when i am i'll give it a try.

by the way, you have any recommendations for makassar? there's a few posts below (including my own) but i'm thinking about going back and would be interested in some additional inside tips if you (or anyone else of course) knows any. i'm thinking about going on a weeknight (tonight or tomorrow actually) and am thinking m club might be empty on a monday/tuesday...

It was a short trip, so i only have a few things to add:

M club - lots of girls, but they weren't very good looking, most seemed to be in the 4-6 range. not that bad as a club though, there was actually (just) enough light so you could *see* the girls weren't very good looking. might be better on a friday night? (I went on a tuesday)

i can recommend Colors club on jl penghibur, i picked up a very cute young thing there, and there were a few around. she was almost definitely a part time freelancer (called her at work the next day, sounded like she actually did have a job) I went there on a wednesday, which is ladies night, and it was packed. It might be less crowded other nights but i doubt it, it's supposedly the hot new club in town. I suppose it's not specifically a mongering place like M club so not every girl you see will neccesarrily be a prostitute, but it was easy enough to find one there.

Suddenly I had to leave for Makassar. Though I was born there, I don't know a thing about mongering there. Thanks to the reports of DJ Monger I had some clues to where to find some company.

I stayed at the Aston hotel, so so quality and less than Aston in Jakarta. Nevertheless, that first afternoon in Makassar I asked for a massage in my hotelroom to recover from the flight.
They sent a chubby one in. Not very young, but with an ok face. Name: Rika.
Her massage was a disaster, so I gathered that she was there to do something else. I was right, she looked very relieved when I asked her if she would like to change the kind of her activity. Since I don't know the price level in Makassar, I found the 200K she asked, OK.
She refused to give a BJ, and since I was in a hurry I didn't mind very much. She gave a proper HJ and then on with the real work. Well to cut a long story short, the fucking was also poor but I managed to come. Sorry JAD, she didn't allow me to take pictures.

The next chance I went to Colors, but it was very quit over there, so I went a couple of hunderd meters further down the street at jalan Nusantara. The sign "Madonna" was not to be missed, so I went in there. Maybe 40 girls/women (5 and 6 quality) were waiting in long seats, facing other long seats where some men are enjoying their drinks. I didn't want to join those guys and went directly for one of the girls, Angie.

The room was very basic, with also basic washing facility, no hot water. We talked a little and then she started directly with the BJ. No foreplay of any kind at all. After a few moments she asked whether I'm ready to fuck her. I said: "No". Funny enough, the following BJ lasted much, much longer. But no AR.
After the BJ, followed the FJ. Actually she moved her body very enjoyable. Welcoming my thrusts, she grinded her hips what gave a nice feeling.
After coming, I washed and gave her 20K tip. Considering that the rate was 100K all in, I didn't think that was bad. Sorry again JAD! No pictures allowed either.

Next stop was Klasik, a few doors further. The girls/women present there were not of my taste, so I left quickly, but not before asking what the ticket price was:85K!! Maybe they have to ask that price considering the quality of available fucklets.

Then to a massage parlour next door. They were closing already, but I can tell you they have the photo system over there. You pick one of the girls whose photo is under a glass plate and pay the cashier 45 K. Any extra treatment and price for it is to be negociated with the masseuse. I didn't notice any stunner there.

Before returning to the hotel the becakdriver took me to a boarding house of girls, practising as parttime escorts.

But I'll save the report of it for the next time, because I'm expected somewhere else in 30 minutes.

As I don’t have enough time to write a complete FR, I’ll just mention the two places I have been.

Facing Nu Bliss at jl. Rajawali no.3, to the left is a small door leading upstairs. The security guard will accompany you and just calls for attention on the second floor. Several doors will open and you can make your choice. I’m not sure whether they are all take-outs. One of the girls who approached me was not in the game, but she could call her friends.

Hotel Bacan, behind Makassar theatre. In the lobby you will be approached by a papasan. Actually some of the girls are waiting outside, in a warung (?) next door.

I don’t know the prices, but the girl who offered to call her friends, mentioned 700K, which of course is ridiculous.

Another interesting thing what happened is, that a becakdriver used my mobile phone to let a very youg girl come and meet me. The girl asked 250K, but a BJ was out of order!

If someone is interested in the phonenumber of the intermediate, I might pass it. But only to senior members I “know”.

I also have visited Colors and Botol. The last one is in Quality hotel. Both are disco's. Maybe I was there too early at 23.00 saturday night. But I haven't seen any prowling girl. The presence of some bule's however, might mean something.

Both places are proper night clubs, and dont really get started until after midnight. Although botol i think closes a bit early as well, at 2, i made the mistake of showing up there at 1:30 one time, only to get kicked out a few minutes later when it closed.

I prefer to use the word disco, because nightclub sounds more sweltering to me. I mean with real striptease, men in tuxedo's etc. But, hey, what's in a name? As long as the place covers our needs!

whereas disco to me sounds like something out of saturday night fever, with the lighted floor, guys in white suits dancing to the bee gees, etc. but i think we both know what we mean!

in indonesian i think both are correct, you can say "disko" or "klub malam" ('club night'). is there a word in bahasa indonesia that distiguishes between a place thats just for picking up women, like say m-club, and places that have a mixed crowd of *****s and, say, college kids?
