Here in the states I use a verizon broadband card to access the internet anywhere.
I will be going back to the PI soon and was wondering if any of the cel providers have this service there yet.
Also, since I will spending time in the provences, does this service work there? This would be great since it will get me better access when I'm not in a hotel.

After they dropped me off at the travel agent they left and after I did the deal with the agent I got into another taxi.This asshole went to the first light and wanted to take me back to my hotel.He was told the name of the hotel and said he knew the place but was heading in the wrong direction.I asked him if he was gonna turn right to go back and he said NO I GO LEFT THIS WAY.I knew the shit was on and so I sat back with my gal and enjoyed the ride.Up the hillside and down,and yes I saw places I had never seen in the great city of CEBU.

recently i saw a guy on the cebu board who posted about being approached in the mall by two "massage" girls, (i thought that old scam went out with the charleston). all these girls do is give a massage and one rubs your back while the other rubs your wallet. if you take only one girl and bring her to your room later you only get a half assed massage, for which she demands like p1000 or some shit. now i'm man enough to admidt i fell victim to this one and i reported it, and a discription of the girl (she had really big tits) which is what got me all stupid it was awhile ago and i felt like a fool but goes to show even experienced mongers do stupid things when they get around great looking pussy. btw i gave her p200 and walked her down and set her ass in a cab when she started making noises like police/barangay captain i want p1000 etc.
so one must use caution and common sense and we continually need reminders of what can happen

A very close friend of mine wants to bring his Philippine girlfriend to Colombia, however we have no idea how to go about doing this.
Since there are many seasoned travelers here. I thought perhaps someone here could give us an idea of what steps to take, costs etc.

You could use Continental Airlines,Manila-LA-Houston- Columbia,But She will need a US transit Visa.So If it looks like She cannot get one,You Can Try Accesing Latin America using other Carriers,Like MAS go Manila-KL-Buenos Aires-connect to Columbia.Good luck.Budget about 1,200-1,400 Dollars since this is a longer way Cheers
