Soon I will be making my yearly trip to Manila, and will be staying in the Alabang area. Can anyone guide me as to where I can get some action and or sensual massage in this area.

As a frequent visitor to LA Cafe over the last two years, I agree with Juniour's assessment. Former beauty queens and amateur students are the exception to the reality. Although I have seen some above average talent, the bulk of the girls are single mothers, pros, japanese/korean leechers or simple skanks. Even for the above talent girls, I have never personally paid less than PHP1000 for ST. I never met a girl who was totally unaware of the general ST rate, and in fact I have met many who have tried to exceed it.

For my personal mode of mongering, I love the LA Cafe. Food and drink is reasonably priced. I can always play a challenging game of pool. Upbeat music. It is easy to mingle with the girls. I never feel hassled. Lots of reasons to escape to LA. But different guys will see LA Cafe differently.

That being said, I wanted to offer a personal tip for getting the most out of LA Cafe. As I only have infrequent visits to MNL (once every 6-8 weeks), I don't have the ability to spot the latest girls. To compensate, I have made friends with a few of the older girls - the "mamasans." They will ususally approach you and ask if you are looking for a girl, especially if you look a bit new to the place. By buying a few cokes/orange juices/beers and sharing my specific requirements (under 20, fresh, slim, okay for video/pictures - don't be shy to ask!), these mamasans are happy to point out appropriate talent. Whether or not I take a girl, my mamasans have been quite good at picking out the gems. They will be especially effective at finding those doe eyed innocent just-came-from-the-province girls. These girls can be a little uneasy about going out, but an introduction from the mamasan as a good guy (and I am!) sets everything at ease because she will explain where my hotel is, how much I will pay, that I am a "decent guy," etc. The mamasan will not tell you this, but she will require the girl to pay her a fee - the infamous "commission" - for the introduction, which means that the girl will want to do ST so she can go back to settle up with mommy. If you take a longer-term approach to LA Cafe, I think that using the mamasans can be useful.

As an aside, I find no other country where girls are so willing to introduce you to other girls. The girls call it commission, but it certainly has the flavor of pimping. Some girls seem to understand that you aren't interested in them personally, but will still try to make a few pesos by making an introduction. If you take a really long-term approach (as I have done), it is possible to find a girl who will take care of your needs. They will not only introduce you to girls from the bar, but there are girls who seem to have an endless supply of cousins, friends and neighbors that they can introduce to you. Later I will write something in the Opinions section to elaborate.

If you read back far enough you will find a post from a guy who did research here and figured out who had good experiences in LA Cafe, and liked the place, and those that did not. The vast overwhelming majority liked LA Cafe and totally disagreed with the assessments of the few.

I payed 500 Pesos with small tips for great service. You dont need a mamasan or anyone else to hold your hand in there, all the girls are available and you can just do it yourself. If you want to use a mamasan, thats your business and if you need it, then more power to you. I dont care either way what guys do.

Some guys cant help themselves when it comes to paying girls. They cant stop forking over money as they have some kind of embarrassment complex over being perceived as cheap. Of course, these are the guys who have no idea how much 500 pesos is to a filipino, or just cant understand it for whatever reason.

All you need is yourself and some balls in LA Cafe. I, and most others have had tremendous success there. Dont let the few who run down the place stop any newbies from going there. You dont have to pay anymore than you want. You are the king, you decide how much and how long and to hell with what anyone else thinks about you.

You are not the Red Cross, The U.N., or any other Aid organization. You are not there for charity purposes, you are there to get fucked and what you pay is, and should be, determined by the payer in establishements like the LA Cafe.

I do like the critcal review on L.A. Cafe very much! However, in my opinion Mikster, Member #3364 and also Juniour are all somehow right with their point of views! And that's great, isn't it!?

Thank to '*************' I went to that place about 6 weeks ago (my very first time) and I really enjoyed my time there! At lunchtime (!) I took two girls for ST to SOGO hotel (Mabini) for having about 3 hours great sex. No beauty queens, no doubt about it, but both were young and somehow cute. I had payed 1.500 pesos each plus 365 pesos for the hotel and it was worth it! Although one of them was indeed a single mother (so what?) and the other one was 'a student' (so what?) I had absolutely nothing to complain! Why should I? And the best thing was no barfine, no mamasan and a very little amount for two drinks in L.A. Cafe.

Sure, in places like f.i. 'Skyline Health Club' you have a much better chance for finding a real 'beauty queen' with excellent make-up, perfect performance in bed, best manners and so on, but that is also a matter of price (for a 1 hour 15 minutes it costs you about 3.500 pesos). So, if you are rather quality concerned as I believe Juniour is, that might be the better place for you. But for an easy fuck L.A. Cafe will do! It all depends what your priorities are. At least next time I will go to both places again! Why not finding the 'right mix'?

I agree with Mikster. Nobody should be discouraged from trying LA Cafe. It is a nice spot which has provided me and many others with delightful chicas at a reasonable price.

To clarify from my previous post, nobody needs handholding to get a girl in LA Cafe. They literally fall all over you when you walk in the door. I only use my mamasan friends to point out fresh talent. I posted some pics to the photo gallery of one of my former LA girls - definitely not bottom of the barrel.

Do you know how many guys have said to me that they would never post again because these clowns attacked their posts, claiming they were novices and ruining the scene by grossly over-paying.

Last year, I actually read some of these clowns’, so-called posts, (it took all of about five minutes) and despite the big claims they have made there was nothing substantial to support their posts - so I say again put up or shut up! They rubbished a couple of girls, who’s photos I posted and claimed I had been done twice because these girl were not even hot. Despite finding these 500 Pesos beauty queen and claiming to have photos, I am still waiting some 15 months later and hundred of excuses later for them to [u]post just one photo.[/u]

To this date they have not posted one photo of these 500 pesos beauty queens they claim to find .. I leave you to make up your mind as to why they have not.

Now I am not expecting you to take my side or the others but simply make up your own mind, if you really believe these clowns claim then simply meet up with them, PM them and let them teach you how to be a great monger like they are and post the results. Like someone who did just that and met up with one of these so-called “experts” and went around with him after all the promises he had been led to believe about what to expect and it wasn’t a question of what girl he wanted but how many. I recall searching for one club and do you know how much I offered taxi drivers, a month salary, if they could find this place and despite the amount of money on offer not one driver could find this so-called club in four days. Why, because it didn’t exist, so if you are going to post information here let’s just keep it real, we’re all human and prone to exaggeration but exaggeration is one thing but lying to yourself is something else, that’s for a loser personality.

Better check your glasses. I never said that there more girls in LA Cafe than Angeles. I said there are more VARIETY of girls in LA Cafe. You are trying to compare a Club to an entire city. If you do the math of course Angeles would have more girls. How about comparing Manila and Makati to Angeles. Which has the bigger population?

I've not been a fan of LA cafe as I had Elvie for the past year's biz trips. But since we both broke off that rather convenient arrangement (for me visits, her $20 sent around every 7 weeks); plus I now stay at the new Hyatt rather than Makati, I think I may well check LA out. I would not pay more than 2,500 for any girl in the Philippines, how will that go down with the LA cafe young set? Good thing about a guaranteed score in a bar is that you choose, or just get pissed, or both.

The thing I like most about sex in the Philippines is that the younger local women almost immediately expect you to ask them to come to your hotel room and are not offended when you do. Quite often they agree, knowing exactly what they will 'get' and have to do. Its as simple as that. I've had some of the dirtiest mutually agreed sex of my life in the Philippines.

And freebies really are the best. I think there is something about the girls saying to their mates there that they had a foreigner in x-hotel. But it does take quite a bit of build up (three night trip).

I am no expert and don't claim to be one. I have seen Juniour's pictures and admit they aren't 9's or 10's in my book. However, each his/her own when it comes to rating the looks of girls. I cannot post pictures because if my wife saw pictures of strange girls she would have evidence to divorce me. I can definitely say that if you saw pictures of girls I like, you may think I was crazy.

My take on LA Cafe is that you need to have confidence in yourself. Some girls will come up to you if you are alone and say hello. In the three weeks I visited which was about 12 times. I was approached about 15 times. Some nights not once, other times 2 or three times. Only once did I end up with one of these girls coming back w/ me after seeing her again later in the evening. (It was the worst experience I had)

You need to be able to go up to a girl and say hello just like in a US bar. You need to be able to have a conversation (limited English on her part) to get to know her a little. You can just go up and ask her to come back w/ you and how much, but I found this to be rude when I heard other guys doing it that way.

The most I paid to a girl was P$2000 for an all nighter. There was one girl who didn't even ask for money (Mica), and she hung w/me for three days. I ended up giving her 2500 which she tried to refuse, but I insisted.

Anyways, as everywhere else, YMMV. This forum is for an exchange of information. Check the place out for yourself. Downstairs there is no cover charge. Upstairs there is a nominal P$100-150 for the live music from 8 pm to 2 am. LA is located in Ermita, and they have security at the door and "bouncers" inside if you don't like what is hanging outside.

I've been out of town for a few days and have had no access to this board, so the controversy raised by the most recent posts came as news to me. I do not like the personal, ad hominem attacks directed at Juniour. They would be inappropriate if directed at anyone, but are particularly ludicrous when written to somone who probably writes the most detailed, non-judmental, and literate articles on the board.

I have lived here and elsewhere in SE Asia for a long time, and I've been to the LA Cafe and many of the other sleazy haunts countless times, yet I never fail to be amused at Juniour's descriptions of his experiences there, and I often learn something. Without meaning to start a new war Mikester, I have no idea of the point of your posts. All of the guys here are free to pay what they please, go with whom they please, go where they please and when they please. If their descriptions of their adventures strikes a responsive chord, fine, If not, simply ignore the post. What's the problem here?

I would suppose that if one waited long enough, you could find an honest 9 or 10 walking through the doors of the LA Cafe, though I have never actually sighted one. However, it's a fun place, and it takes very little other than a smile and a "hi" to get next to any of the ladies there.

When I go to the LA Cafe I have found that if I go in and relax and have a few beers that the women come up to me and start talking and soon it leads to a discussion of them coming back to my hotel with me. I try to be calm and show some interest, but not too much. She usually quotes me a price that is relatively high and I tell her that is much more than I can afford even though I find her very attractive and I would like her to come back to my room with me.

Usually the girl will continue to talk with me and I will buy her a drink at this point. As we talk, she keeps on quoting me lower and lower prices. In my experience the girl will stop lowering her price at 300 pesos, at which point I usually accept. The girls are not model types, but just average in appearance, which is fine for me, since I am not model type so I don't expect one in return. The service I have gotten from these girls has ranged from excellent to I wish I did it myself.

On several occassions I have been able to get two girls to come back to my room with me and have a threesome, with some interesting action between the girls for only 600 pesos.

What I (as a newbie) would really like to know is, is there a chance to make an 'appointment' with one of the waitresses? Some of them I found quite attractive! Has anybody experience with that?

I had one was very interested in me and asked to meet me after she got off. I told her I would, but her shift wasn't set to end until an hour later. Anyhow, back to your question. From my understanding(correct me if I'm wrong) lots of the waitresses are girls who used to hang out at LA Cafe. I've heard they turnover the staff quite frequently. I guess you could say that they hire from within. While the waitresses do have a source of legitimate income, it seems likely that they would be willing to supplement it, epecially given the environment the work in. I think I read here sometime back that once their contracts are about to expire, they are scrambling to hook up. Just don't be fooled into thinking they are any different than the other girls there.
