Michelle leaves Curacao January 24. She says her next gig will be on Aruba beginning sometime in May or June.

Coming from the Midwest US to Campo on the 14th of January and staying through the 18th. I am renting a car and staying at the Marriott. I am looking for a wingman maybe to split the car costs and provide a little safety during the drive to and from Campo.

Plan on making the trip nightly around 8ish and staying three or four hours but no set plans.

If there is anyone else staying at the Marriott and are interested please PM by the 12th.

Be Safe[/QUOTE]About the most dangerous thing that could occur to you in Curacao between the Marriott and Campo is the bj without condom that your TLN chica will give you as you drive her back the next day.

DT's right Gafelk, you will have nothing at all to worry about and don't need a wingman for travel safety. I stayed at the Marriott and my buddies and I did that run numerous times. Late at night, during the day and as the sun was coming up...lol. I suggest you do the run during the day first, just to know the landmarks. It really is pretty easy to get to Campo from the hotel so don't worry!

One of my buddies and I are debating on going down in Feb. again for a week after reading some of the latest reports!

I know it's a long shot, but could someone try to find out more precise timeframe and what bar she's going to be working in (if she's headed to San Nicolas) or the name of the escort service (if she's going to be working for one) ?
It can be difficult and time consuming to look for a particular chica in 30+ bars in San Nicolas, especially if she's new and hasn't yet achieved the status that she has in Campo...

There is a bar called Chesterfields. Its the largest (I think) and open the latest (some girls go there when their bar closes). It is also slightly more expensive. On each of my visits it has consistently had the most trophy/model kind of chicas- they must get first pick or something when the visas are drawn up. If I had to guess where she's going to land, I'd put money on Chesterfields.

I will be in Curacao for the night of the 16 January. I was planning on spending the night with a chica. Hopefully Michelle, either in her room or a room at Campo. Did you leave your luggage in the car overnight? If not what did you do with it.

Yes, this was the main reason for me to take a renting car to go from airport to Campo, as a taxi would have been cheaper regarding the distance.

Whatever you do, don't walk the road from the airport to campo at night. I'ts to long and there is no guarantee that it is safe.

Of particular interest is:

Chapter 4: "The Happy Camp in Curacao:
Legal Sex Work and the making of the SanDom”.

It starts on page 87 of this 116 page book published in 2004.

It gives the most in depth factual history on Campo I have ever read, not that there is a lot of published history on the Happy Camp.

Campo was started in 1949, before many, but not all readers of this forum were born.

Before Campo was established there were many RLD Hotels operating in downtown Willemstad.

Things were getting very out of hand and the locals loudly demanded a lid be put on it and the activities moved to a less conspicuous location.

Thus The Happy Camp was started and everyone who has ever visited will never forget the day/week/month they spent camping on Curacao.

If you need the book for your library, it is $135, but I think most ISG Forum readers will be content to read it on line and then directly spend the $135 on their own ‘research’ of the subject. Happy Reading.
