i had good luck staying at the hotel barbara barcelona. it is right in the red light district and was cheap. i could walk a few blocks east to sightsee in the gothic quarter and the metro (subway) was close. also, this area goes 24/7 with the ramblas a few blocks away. i was very close to the bagdad sex club which is good though quite expensive. also an easy walk was the peep show on the lower ramblas where the live peeps were very reasonable. i think you could pick up a provider there but i don't know the prices. this is also probably the best spot for picking up a streetwalker although not all of them are that great.

There are many great bars and clubs in BCN where you can have some great non-pro fun for new years eve.... along Paseo Maritimo de la Barceloneta (or Pg Maritim on Catalan maps) there are about 3 or 4 clubs / lounge bars all next to each other. - Selection of girls: good, but that night the selection wasn't as great as the first time I was there six months ago, nor was it as good as the previous night at La Perla Negra. Nonetheless, all the girls were definitely do-able as there was nobody less than a 7.

- Receptionist: Mamasan was warm, welcoming and spoke fluent english which meant I could explain exactly what I was looking for and she could point me in the right direction. Top marks for customer service.

- Price: 110 euros for 45 mins (no clockwatching, I got the full time, didn't feel rushed -- session came to a natural conclusion after the bell rang to indicate end of time)

- Value for money: 10 (may be slightly more expensive than other establishments, but worth every eurocent for better decor, service and selection of girls)

I finally decided on the place at C/Arago 429. I arrived at about 5. 30 pm. The entrance is a glass window and a glass door. Looks more like an abandoned store. Arago 429 is written on the window so you really can't miss it. There is a single door bell on the glass. I felt very safe. The street is very busy with cars, but not many pedestrians. I buzzed and the door opened. It is a small place and the facilities are basic, but I knew that. Given it is half the price of the more prestigious places, I must say that it wasn't too bad at all.

While being shown to a room, I passed some of the working girls. My Spanish is almost non-existent, and the mamasan seemed only to know a few words of English. They don't seem to be concerned at all with bumping in to each other, girls or customers. I met a guy going in when I was leaving and the working girls seemed to be "all over" the place. Sacha took the matter in her own hands and cleaned my privates without hesitation. Not a bad way to get the old friend going.

Back to the room and a nice start with some cuddling and light kisses. I was afraid that DFK was not on offer, but she only needed some time to warm up. A while later she was up for some really nice DFK. She did BBBJ without hesitation and it was nice. However, around here my lack of Spanish started to take its toll. Anyway, not a bad session after all. You simply get what you pay for. My only advice is to stick with half an hour if you're not sure you can hold it longer than I could.
