When buying condoms, I always choose a discreet, empty pharmacy with just a male shopkeeper. Problem is a women shopkeeper always suddenly appears from no-where at the last minute to discuss with the man just how much should they charge for the extra-small ones.

I would assume prescription drugs would be the same way. Bahrain might keep an image of having tight control over such areas, but just until a recent bust both recreational (hashish mainly) and prescription drugs were quite high in supply around Bahrain. Will only be a short matter of time until other suppliers come into the market. Dubai on the other hand is great for rehab from what I hear hehe.

Wandered around Rock Bottom (Juffair) Thursday night. I saw a mix of Western (Russian?) as well as the Asian women (Thai and Chinese) spread around the whole place. I've flown Jazeera a few times now and it's perfectly ok. The 'plus' section is a little like business class (but not too much like it) and they give you free drinks (I think, I've always been in the cattle class). Seats are good, and the flight is reasonable and boring like it should be for a short haul.

It's a budget airline so don't expect to be fed or watered for free. If you want a drink be prepared to pay for it. The aircraft are reasonably new as far as I can tell (not being in the airline business) and the crew are pleasant. Apart from the fact that you will be crammed in the seat and the whole plane will be full, I can't see any reason for paying the extra for the plus.

Just my take.

Well a key word might be "prescription". It might require a prescription in the USA or elsewhere, but not require a prescription in Bahrain and other countries. Then you have countries like Mexico where a prescription is required for something, but they will sell it to you anyways, perhaps for the same or higher price.

Thanks for the info. I haven't tried Red Bulls and V or C. But then again, I have had some Yager Bombs or Red Bull with Vodka while on some C.

Should have took the advise of other forum members but Octopus had a supposedly hot deal on the above hotel, I can confirm the the hotel is not girl friendly and it is virtually impossible to sneak one up I tried. They do have their own stock who come knocking on your door but quality is very poor rooms are pretty poor also, the breakfast is the only decent thing about the hotel.

Visited Diggers next door in the Delmon had a small Chinese called Ping Ping 30BHD for about an hour in an appartment with her, just about ok.

Tried the Seashell early on a friday evening 18:30 fairly quiet maybe 3 thais around only had beer. I was told by Ping Ping the City Centre hotel near the Delmon is very girl friendly and no charges or ID required for a visitor she also said the rooms were OK but I cannot confirm this is true. I did visit the bar in the hotel which was ok.
