Given that "school" could last until 24 yo, a grey skirt as perfectly acceptable, a blue one could be cause for concern and a red one induced panic. 😁.

Interesting that I just had my FC account suspended.

I've just returned from a trip to Indonesia where I was accessing this site and a couple of hookup sites, including FC, via a VPN. 2 days after returning home and accessing FC without a VPN, my account was blocked and I was requested to provide proof of accurate profile photo, current location and method of accessing the site (mobile, PC etc). I'm not aware of anyone reporting me so assume that the site's fraud protection kicked in and recognized the difference in my profile location, Manila, and my non VPN protected IP address at home.

Luckily a quick call to their help desk explaining that I had just returned home solved everything and I haven't lost any contacts chats or numbers but it could have been a major PITA.

I've noticed a lot of the sites are now taking photo, age and location verification very seriously. Some are even requiring passport or driver's license details to match these details.

There are obviously all the normal privacy and fraud concerns over handing over government ID details to an unknown party. I'd suggest the sex sites are probably some of the less secure and trustworthy sites to give this info. There was no way I was sending Cupid copies of my passport or Drivers Licence.

FWIW, Badoo and its cousins also require ID to be submitted to facial recognition software to verify profile pics. I'm guessing they also monitor IP addresses to verify location.

Just clic on the name and you will see an edit function to put the name of your choice.
