I sometimes drink alcohol, and there is nothing wrong with that in moderation, but I was talking more about the chronic drunks who are in bars all day. This board is about sex and both smoking and excessive drinking can damage sexual performance, so shouldn't we be concerned? As you may know, smoking is no longer allowed in bars and restaurants in the US and in the UK, and maybe in other countries, and for good reason. Why should anyone have to come home with their clothes, skin, and hair stinking of tobacco smoke because they went to a restaurant, or have the taste of a good dinner spoiled because someone else in a restaurant is smoking a cigar?

I am all in favor of good sex, and few women are turned on by men who smell bad.

There was a time when the bars in Sosua had to have walls / partitions blocking the view of the bars from the sidewalk, the video you posted shows none of that, so it does no accurately depict what someone might find in Sosua. Another ISG member posted fairly recently about motoconcho guys always disturbing him as he walked on the sidewalk with offers of drugs. I did over 10 trips to Sosua and I remember rude, obnoxious Moto guys screaming out offer of drugs.

Smoking has been Illegal in bars, restaurants and casinos in the Dominican Republic for at least the last two years. Last time I was in Classicos over 3 years ago I was told that I could not smoke a cigar inside Classicos. I watch sports and oftentimes the camera shows the spectators, the television station did not get a consent from the many people sitting watching the game who may show up on the telecast when the camera shows the stands where people are watching the game. It was slow during the day then too, so I found myself walking to NG often during the day to find some action. There were at least 5 to 6 most times with 2 doable. Unfortunately those 2 were always with another monger, lot of times just talking or sharing a drink. I waited around for a bit but never got to do those 2, staying there would have definitely helped.

NG also had the bikini contest that weekend. Hope they have it this year too. Skanky wags or not, something is better than nothing. When the moment strikes, I hate to be walking around and around not being able to find anything.

To me there is a difference between being photographed at a sports event and being photographed in a red light district drinking with prostitutes. Many people have to be very careful about confidentiality, especially if they work in fields like law enforcement, education, health care, any kind of government services, which is a lot of people when you think about it, and if asked for consent to be used in a video promoting a German travel agency, they would not give it. Some hotels in DR are now completely non-smoking.
