1) she said the girls have to stay until 4 if someone doesn't take them. There were tons of girls just sitting around at 2:30. Might be a good strategy to wait until then to strike a deal if you're into negotiations.

2) Flavia said she worked at Centaurus for a day when the price was R450. She got R200 of that and had 4 clients. The thing about Barbarella's you have to go in there with your own set of rules after going there for decades I have NEVER paid for a girl drinks NEVER! And I have NEVER tip any of those waiters! I have met and know the manager of the place he is about the only one that speak good English I told him years ago IF a waiter or girl says I own them for some drinks it's a lie because I will NEVER buy them a drink. He just laugh.

Also by having the girl leave 1st you don't have to pay the 60 reals exit fee the so called rules of the Club really depends on how much the girl make for the Club and if she get tricks to buy lots of drinks for her and her girlfriends and exit fees the manager will turn a blind eye with the coming and goings with a star chick.

I set the rules to the girl NOT her telling me the rules she pay for her own Taxi to my place IF she gives me a good session I will pay for her Taxi fare from my place.

If I see a girl I like I will talk to her and let her know up front I am NOT going to wine and dine you and her is my card with my hotel info on it and if you want to leave NOW we can met later at my hotel whoever get their 1st just wait for the other person. IF a chick is down she will agree to this. I tell them I will give you 150-200 reals for a session (I DON'T tell them for how long )! Normally a session can last for a hour or more or FOR THE NIGHT! If you and the girl get along and she is relax and having fun with you she will kick it with you for a longer period of time.

It's up to each Trick to spend and pay what he see is good price for them I for one will NEVER pay a chick 500 reals or her asking price I have maybe had 2 girls tell me 500 reals over the years after laughing my ass off I tell her IF you don't like me just say so you don't have to try to scare me off by saying a price like that. No rip-off taxis, which I also refuse to use. Also, a lot of those broads will start at 500 to 600 reals. Never pay that. They will say some lame line like the price is 600,"but for you", I'll come down to 500. LOL! If you want to be nice, offer 300 reals. If she accepts, YMMV from there in terms of how long she's willing to stay and what she will do. If you want something specific to be on the menu, then ask! No shame. Also, if you stop by later in the evening, it's easier to strike a better deal because the girls start worrying that maybe they won't pick up any business because it's so late and they haven't left with anybody yet.

I always make sure I stop by Barbarella's at least a few times on each trip to Rio I was there a few months ago working on a show in Rio and I stopped by and there and I had a good time I slipped a dancer my card and tip her and told her I enjoyed her dancing and to stopped by my place I hooked up with her a few times on that trip. I see her lurking on Facebook all the time and she shoots me a PM from time to time just to say hello.

I know that you've been going to Rio since the late 70's, but I can't immediately assume that you are fluent in the language because there are a lot of Gringos that go to Rio constantly and don't bother to learn a lick of the language. The reason I ask is because some of the things you say to these girls can't possibly be in English along with broken Portuguese and mere hand signals, for them to properly comprehend what you mean anyway. I've taken Portuguese courses at a university over the last year here in Rio and I still don't know the proper expression for "wine and dine". LOL.

LOL.[/QUOTE]I don't speak Portuguese, but between what Spanish and English they understand and between what Portuguese I understand, I've never had too many problems communicating and getting my message across loud and clear. I also will tell them that if they want to take a taxi out front then the cost will come out of their money. You ought to see them tutes stepping past those clowns outside LOL! And the guy clapping his hands all loud like he's doing something. Haha! They're not doing anything but ripping you off! And the girls know it. They're just doing what they're told. Hello everyone! I have just finished reading the last 50 pages of comments / reports and I just want to thank all the people who have posted their reports and guides. I am a newbie to this whole mongering world. I've only been to Rio for 2 days before and that was when I visited someone in Sao Paulo. Didn't even know what a terma was. Completely unacceptable. Anyways, I will be travelling with two friends who are not mongers but I plan to introduce them to that side of Rio. I've seen some posts asking about flights and housing options so I'll contribute what I did so that maybe other newbies can get an idea of how to plan their Rio trip.

Not endorsing any of these places, just posting what I did. I went on kayak. Com and looked up flights from the USA to Brazil. Found one on US Airways for USD$956 (FYI it is now $763 and those punks won't refund me the difference). For housing, I used airbnb. Com which has a lot of filters so that you can narrow down exactly the type of place you are looking for. There are reviews so you can verify that a place isn't infected with cockroaches or rundown (read about that here. Not cool). Be careful though, this one apartment in Ipanema had a rule saying no sex tourism. Found a good three bedroom apartment with modern updates for about $1500 for 7 nights. Splitting that with my 3 friends for 7 nights comes to about $72 a night with flexible check in and check out. I bought a travel book which has alot of good stuff on touristy things (Rio for Partiers) but it has ZERO stuff on picking up chicas. Absolutely unacceptable. So I read Bubba's report with Sperto's report included and started reading this thread back from October 2012 when Sperroid wrote his reports.

I'll be in Rio from April 3 to April 10 and hopefully can post some useful reports. I won't be mongering every single day but hopefully can hit 3 or more spots during my stay. I have also found some websites for escorts that I haven't seen mentioned here before:

My yearly update on the quiosque situation in Copacabana (not because I expect anybody is interested).
In Leme and Copacabana there are now a total of 68 quiosques. 42 new ones and 26 old ones.

I've read some pessimist posts guessing that the city of Rio will close down privês in centro as a part of the cleaning up before the World Cup.
I see no tendency of this so far. Today I had the pleasure of visiting more than 50 privês/casas de massagem, in the category R$20-100, in Centro (and sampled some gems). There is no lack of wh*re-houses in Rio. Just as good as always, even though the prices have gone up a bit.
