1) They don't like you and want you to take a hike, thinking that's just what you'll do after you hear their crazy price.
2) They think you're fresh of the boat and might pay their crazy price because you don't know better.

Now a day Pattaya is very quite and the mongering scene is getting boring. (maybe because is already one year that I am living here). Anyway, in the last month the number of tourist is gone down drammatically and with my surprise I am been quoted from the girls higher prices then usual.
Anyway guys refuse to over pay them or they will get used to it (bad for us).
