A girl at Airport who was working as a Tequila girl said her barfine was now 700 versus 800 for when she used to work at the back stage. The regular dancers were 600.

A dancer I knew before from Peppermint who now works at Moon said their barfine was 1, 500 of which she got 1, 000. I was with her short time before her shift started for 1, 500.

At Happy I took a girl short time for 600/2, 000. She told me she could only go short time before I think 22:00 or midnight. Can't quite remember. She wanted me to come in later and take her long time the next day.

At Peppermint and Alcatraz I was told 600/3, 000 long time. I countered with 2, 500 but got no movement, so I walked. More on principle than price. Both girls seemed shocked but they just might have been acting.

At Champagne it was 600/2, 500 long time.

Was probably duped for one of the 'premium' girls at Iron for 1, 000/3, 000 long time although based on what I knew about airport having the graduated bar fine for the different performers and what I read I think Iron might often be getting 1, 000 for that group of girls. I wrote a report on this one a few days ago.

One long time from a beer bar at beginning of walking street for 300/1, 500. One from Insomina for 1, 500.

It looks almost like a "cartel", I. E. For gogo bar girls, the ST price was consistently 2'000 baht, LT 3'000 baht, with very few exceptions (below and above). BF was normally 600, in some places 1'000 or even 1'200 baht. If I remember correctly, Iron asked for 1'200, but it might be dependent on the time of the night. I also tried to negotiate, but could not get anything better, so I chose another place. Pattaya is in a metamorphosis from a monger paradise to a family vacation location.

I took a number of notes and will report in more detail in the coming days. However, I wanted to confirm the pricing, which is firmly higher than in the past.

Negotiations determine the price. Set yourself a budget and if she does not want to fit within your budget, move on to the next one. Negotiations also determine the service. If you want kissing, ask her if she does. Maybe even try it out in the bar or agogo. I must say I never had any problem finding someone to my liking. Good agreements make good friends.

For those who like the thrill of an legitimate massage place, yesterday I had an interesting experience.

I don't know the exact location it was in Soi Bukhao zone where there are plenty of bars, Go-Go's and also an astonishing number of massage establishements, many of them lower their 1 hour massage to 100 baht.

Despite the number, probably 95 % of the girls are in their 30's or more, something that may not be for everybody's taste. By some kind of luck when walking I noticed 1-2 girls with a good apppearence and younger than the usual standard, despite the fact I was not was planning to have a massage I was convinced to enter the store (one of them grabbed me and took me inside) , suddenly another girl took my arm and pointed the starways seeming it was going to be her to give the massage.

I was interested in the other girl because she had a good look and was younger than usual, but for my surprise this girl was much younger and pretty. I was happily suprised.

Reaching the 3rd floor, she asked me to lay down and take my clothes off. I started to get suspicious, when she insisted "all the clothes".

In the meanwhile, the other girl appeared, and they proposed a double massage for 400 baht, something that seemed reasonable. For half an hour my body was divided between the two of them, in a diferent and nice feeling.

As expected, soon come the offering of "special" from the younger one (24, but seemed even younger). She want HJ, but I really think thats a non-sense and told them I just do FS, she seemed unconfortable because despite the curtains it was almost a public place. In fact it's remarkable how closely the price of pussy here tracks the general cost of living. In the early '80s here a bowl of noodles here was around B3 and you could take a girl home for the night for about B200. Now they're both roughly ten times that amount. The only difference is that it's the Thais who complain when the price of noodles goes up and the farang when it happens to pussy!

All the girls know that the money is in the gogos and if they are pretty and young they will eventually end up there if not start there from the beginning.

If you're into mediocre girls then there are plenty outside of the gogo scene for cheap prices. There is still lots of pussy to be had in Pattaya, but it seems to be very segregated now with gogos tending to have the hottest girls (not the case in the past). Things have changed quite a bit. The easiest solution to this problem is to bring and spend more money.

Even at the internet cafe, the hostess who collects the money from you, might agree to go for a quickie with you in the washroom, if you offer her good money for it.

And this isn't just for farangs. This is how Thai men and women behave with each other too. And being married quite often is no obstacle to this kind of behavior either for men or for women. Of course, this kind of thing isn't entirely without trouble. Thai men and women get jealous with each other once in a while as a result of such cheating. And it does lead to distrust and trouble between them once in a while.

But my point is that any Thai lady you like at any place of business wouldn't find it strange if you proposition to her in private for a full service type of encounter with her and offer her good money for it. Because if she is good-looking, then Thai men probably proposition to her in private like this once in a while, even if they can't pay. They might promise to pay her later.

But when the place has very little privacy, such as curtains only, then it makes sense for two ladies to take you on as a team, rather than have a 1 on 1 encounter with you. Because doing personal business with you, when they are supposed to be working for their boss is probably against the rules. The lady who fucks you needs another lady to be on the lookout for her and have her take care of things, if their boss or someone else gets curious about what's going on behind the curtains with you.

I dunno, but I'm sure the same inflationary pressure eventually works on the Thai joints too. The basic situation is that the cheap Thai-oriented places (like the ones for laborers, truck drivers, soldiers, etc.) tend to be really cheap, while the fancy ones (for businessmen, politicians, etc.) are really expensive. The farang-oriented places we go to are in the middle. So the cheap ones go up around B50 or B100 at a time, while the high-end ones rise by B500 or even B1000 each time. Our places usually move in increments of B200-300. That explains the recent ongoing rises on Soi 6, Honey, Chaiyapun etc from B700 to B1000. Next will be B1200 in a few years, then B1500. It's all pretty predictable.
