I usually spend less on food (since I eat like khon-Thai - maybe 300B/day) and don't stay in the hi-class hotels either (again same as khon-Thai - maybe 500B/day) "girls" are generally ST off beach road and I don't add up the drinks. but my "misc budget" will usually be over 100k Baht (maybe even per week)

but Pattaya is just another "waypoint on the flight plan" :)

Sunday 11. of July I came again to Bangkok for a 3 day stopover. I spend the nights as usual at Livingstones Lodge in Sukhumvit Soi 33. I have been in there at 1am before and it has been kind of stagnant, only picking up sometime after 2am. I would say the sweetspot in terms of timing is 2:30-3:30am. The usual order of club hopping that I do is: CM2 until midnight (or a little later), Climax until 1:30am, Spicey until 2:30-3am, Bossy until 5am. That's my routine from January, although when I was in BKK in May/June, I never managed to run the full gauntlet.

It's a Thai way of "thinking": Business is slow, so raise the price on the few customers you might actually have. It's like the old joke - A salesman is trying to sell cars, and he has a $1 Million quota. He's falling way behind, so he raises the price of the one's he has to $1 million each - when questioned about it, he explains - I only need to sell ONE to make my number, and I'm almost there already.

And I thought I was spoiling the market in BKK with 1000 ST/1500 LT (if the service was good) for street/beergarten FLs (Pattaya. Approx. 300-400-500 baht less). Never bothered trying GoGos (other than for beers and some show) knowing the ridiculous (for LOS) rates there (and as what is reported, usualy "spoiled" behavior of girls, run-aways, "star sickness", etc.)

Anyways, come on, guys! Thais get a dinner for 20 baht!

It depends how well you negotiate. I was in bkk last week and managed to score 2 girls from cowboy for 1000ST each and one stunner from Rainbow(nana) for 1000ST. So yes there are deals, but you got to know how to work it.
