Gubei was expecting raids on Friday many MPs had lights down / ended up closing very early in the afternoon.

For those that indulge in saunas, multiple establishments are closed for business in Minhang and Changning districts. If you are already in some of their QQ or Wechat groups, you will find them saying they're closed for renovations or some of them straight out say it's too windy out there and will reopen when the weather is better. Head over to Hongkou if you really need a relief.
And for those of you who are close with the girls but can never find a chance to see them outside of their workplace, now's the best time to start Wechatting!

After a slightly awkward elevator ride up, we entered my room and spent the first few minutes of our new encounter awkwardly trying to communicate in extremely broken bits of both languages. I contacted a few places in Minhang. They were all closed for renovation (installing storm windows?) I am known to them as a customer, I don't know why they did not just say to me: it is too windy now. That way, I know they were looking out for me to stay away from hazards.

I'm new to the forum but not to the Shanghai / Suzhou regions of China. I spend about 4 months per year on an off in the area for business.
I noticed elsewhere in this thread that others made requests for recommendations. I hope this is the appropriate place for me to request the same.
A couple months ago I finally began putting more effort into hooking up while in town. I've been to Judy's and spent time with a couple of the women there. I've also used WeChat / QQ to find a couple women while in Taicang. But I've always been somewhat disappointed with the experiences. Beautiful women, but lacking in personality and skills.
I wish I had known about this forum previously. I'd have collected more useful information to share here regarding those experiences. I'll have to keep this in mind moving forward. In any case, I'd like to try something a bit different and ask for recommendations from forum members.
