Not quite instant karma, but still OK for me
Passed by that foot massage place where that thieving woman stole from me. It was out of business. I don't think it lasted for more than a couple of months. Good riddance.
I am a frequent Traveller to Shanghai.
After many trials I finally found the most convenient hotel:
The Sofitel Hyland on Nanjing Lu.
It's reasonably priced very well managed good quality in every aspect.
Location on Nanjing Lu is perfect BUT.
Do not ever go with one of the many touts!
And E V E are!
You can bring any business contact as well!
All other question you might have, just PM me.

[QUOTE=CuriouSexplorer;1962103]Gentlemen,
I'm in Shanghai for 3 days. Having never traveled to China before, I seek some help with some info.
1. Which would be a good part of town to stay in, where there is easily accessible night life, but is not infamous enough to raise eyebrows with people I'm meeting?
2. Which would be a decent hotel there, which is green.
3. What are the types of options available, at what are current prevailing prices?
4. Apart from the usual safeguards, anything specific to look out for in sg?
Would really appreciate any info gained. Thanks.
