I've been a regular traveler to the Philippines for many years, and moved out here permanently 2 months ago for both business and PLEASURE.

I'll start with my take on LA Cafe. First, if the place was no good, why are there more westerners looking for pussy there then the next 10 most popular bars combined. On a busy weekend night, there are about 150 guys there. The entire patronage of EDSA complex, for example, is maybe 50 customers at most, and there are 6 bars in EDSA. Yes, it is true that the vast majority of women at LA Cafe are just plain ugly. That is because of the open nature of the bar. However, make no mistake that you can find beautiful women there. You can also find girls new to the game. You can find naive young Filipinas who heard it is a great place to meet a nice western guy. You can find some of the absoute nastiest, ugliest, fattest women that are embarrasment to the profession. You can find virgins there. The problem is that the volume of worn out, ugly *****s crowd everything else out. The reason that so many of the customers are expats is that for them, if they spend a night in the place and come up empty handed, no problem. But if you only have two weeks, you may want to think twice before spending an evening there. I rarely go there now only because my free time is limited and with traffic from Makati, it takes about 45 minutes to get there. And when I do go, I usually find nothing. HOWEVER, some of the most beautiful, nicest Filipinas I have ever met, I met there. But if you consider that I have been to LA Cafe about 50 times, and only ever had 7 or 8 women there, you can get an idea that it is not a place that you can just go and pick up a honey, unless you are just not very particular. With the Firehouse, for example, you can so there at any time and walk out with a cuttie in less than 5 minutes. The difference is that with the Firehouse, there is no doubt what you are getting. With LA Cafe, you can meet different types of girls.

Due to my limited time, I generally go to massage parlors. While I prefer bargirls, my free time is usually limited to daytime hours and most bars open at 6:00. The beat massage parlor I have found is Starfleet. Make sure you visit both levels - different girls on each. If you go before 7:00, it is 1,200 for the room and 2,000 for the girl. Many of the girls there are 8's and 9's (yes, much, much better then you would typically find at LA Cafe). There is also Air Force one a couple of buildings down, but I was not impressed by what I found there. In Makati, Palacio Don Pedro has a very good line up as well, but it is 2,000 for the room and 2,000 for the girl.

When I do get nights out, I limit my search to three places - EDSA complex, the new entertainment complex in Paranaque, and Visions bar on Roxas. While Visions is out there by itself and you can't walk to another bar if you don't find anything, the high quality of the women there make it worth the trip, and it is only a 5 minute taxi ride from EDSA Complex. P Burgoss is more convenient to where I live, but the high prices and more "professional" attitude of the girls generally motivate me to make the trip to EDSA, although I have certainly found some real hotties there.

BTW, regarding the quality and cost at LA Cafe did I ever mention the last time I was there I was approached by an absolute stunner who bought me drinks all night long! Afterwords, she paid for the cabfare back to my room, fucked my brains out and then when I was not looking slipped 500 pesos in my pants pocket! I felt a little cheap but it was a nice gesture anyway.

Spent just one night in MLA so stayed near the airport at Copacapaba Hotel (1800 pesos, very nice deep water pool). It is next door to the Heritage (twice the price) which is located at the corner of Roxas and EDSA Street. For newbies - read the acronym, not the letters.

Taxi from airport. If you use the 'service' on the ground floor (arrivals) they will overcharge. I was quoted 230. I went upstairs and grabbed a taxi there. Meter was under 60 pesos when I reached the Copa. The thing that really shocked me was the taxi driver asked me to put on my seatbelt. He also never beeped his horn the entire trip. Unfortunately, it was just a fluke. I tipped him well.

Across from the hotel is the EDSA complex. Lots of beauties, few customers. The firehouse was best, but I ended up barfining two (both from Mindanao)from the place just to the left of Firehouse. I dont remember the name. One girl there has Jamaican roots. Six foot tall, busty, and very articulate for a bar girl. Instead of asking me to bar fine her, she asked me if I was good at sex. Something new that I never experienced before is that they try to sell Viagra along with your bar fine.

I didnt barfine the big girl, since I like them petite. One that came back to the room with me weighed 40kg.

The girls I had were new. Neither had a phone. The one I wanted was a bit shy, so I barfined the friend to keep things relaxed and friendly. Does that make sense?

Lots of cuties here on Boracay, but many are just tourists. The few that propositioned me looked to have some mileage on them. Ill try to write more in the appropriate areas.

If you are going to be in Manila for any period of time you can just stay at the Copacabana Hotel which is directly across the street from EDSA. I remember looking out my window and seeing the place and saying, "holy shit, I didnt think I was this close!" I dont personally know of any short time hotels, but others may. You can get a great deal at the Copacabana, its a very good hotel for the price and it has a great swimming pool to entertain your many new friends. I dont remember exactly what kind of deal I got there when I went, but it was around 1200 to 1500 pesos on the top floor. Its around 15 minutes from LA Cafe and maybe 30 to Makati during non rush hours. No problemo with chicas at all.

You can get short time at EDSA just like anywhere else. I never did a short time there but I would imagine that it depends on the quality of the girl and what she is willing to take. Dont forget the bar fine as well. Dont know if the bar fine is less for short time but its worth asking and bargaining for it.

It can get expensive at EDSA if you go for a really hot girl. I would try my luck at LA Cafe and get a decent girl there for all night for 500 pesos, or whatever you want to pay. Remember, you dont have to bring up money in the LA Cafe. If she doesnt bring it up then no need for you to either. Just take her back and start banging.

One guy mentioned that there was some kind of known price for ST and LT in LA Cafe. Sort of like a union set price or something. Thats hogwash as many guys have attested to.

Anyway, when I was in EDSA I was quoted 1000 to 1500 for barfine, then anywhere from 1500 to 3000 for long term. I met a girl there and she was getting off in a couple hours, it was my very first night and she came over and I ended up giving her 1500 in the morning as I knew she would probably have thrown a fit for anything less and she delivered the merchandise up all night long and in the morning as well. Excellent first experience. Dont forget to try and meet the girls after their shift, you can skip the barfine then.

Most EDSA girls prefer short time, and many will not even offer long time - this is not Angeles. Most cuties start arriving around 8:00 pm. The best time to arrive is about 7:45 so you will have first shot at the hot ones when they come in. It is not unusual for the best girls to get barfined within minutes after taking the stage. There are several short time hotels right across the street. The best is Victoria Court. It is 600 Pesos for short time, as opposed to several in the 400 - 500 pesos range, but it really is worth the $2 difference. You would really have to be a down and out Filipino to chose a dump at 500 pesos, when Victoria Court has very nice rooms for 100 pesos extra. Make sure you tell the taxi driver "victoria court Luneta", just accross the street, as some will take you to Victoria Court Malate to get a bigger fare.

Having done the tour now in Manila for my second time, I wanted to share with all the North American mongers that if you're looking for a "clean" settup, you can't beat AirForce one in Manila.

ie. though EDSA is a great location to pick up some hot young thing, the social setting was a little too 'dirty' for one of my partners in crime who's a regular monger in the United States.

Going into AirForce one is like going into a massage parlour in San Fran - but much nicer.

The down side of AirForce one - I'm not sure if anyone has noticed - is that the light and glass that you view the girls through is very deceptive. I'm not sure if this is true or not (I swear there where 3 of us, and none of us was drunk) but all 3 commented that the girl that walked into our rooms was not the same girl that we selected through the glass - all where fatter, shorter, and darker.

I doubt they'd try the bait and switch on us. So something's up with this funky mirror laden glass in the viewing area.

I was just in Manila for a few weeks and I must played golf 3 times a week. I've been lucky enough to meet some guys that play 2-3 times a week and belong to several country clubs. But that not what I'm posting about. Some of the guys I know took New York Pinoy and I to a club called Bartolina in Cubao. Its a fairly small place and they only had 20 or so girls but 90 percent of the girls are HOT and had huge tits! It must be a requirement.

I was in the LA Cafe recently and I just want to comment on one "chick" who was there. She looked typically Chinese/Pinoy, about 5'6", 70 kgs of all muscle. I was never so scared in all my life.
Gents: by all means call each other out and kick the shit out of each other. Maybe even arrange it for when I am in town so I can video it. But don't, if you value your life, call that babe out. She swaggers around the lower floor like Mike Tyson in a foul move. And, if Iron Mike has any sense, he would run for his life from her. Easily the scariest hooker I have seen in the last 30 years. It is like Bangkok's Beergarten in that the clientele consists mostly of freelancers and mongers. But it is maybe 10% of the size on its ground floor and there is not the same space to circulate and view the merchandise.
Outside, there are nice pussies to be had. I picked up a few homeless ladies and gave them shelter. The problem with outside, is apart from the TVs who wander around like packs of stray dogs, there are too many gangs of suckling mothers/beggars pimping. It can be funny to watch a monger being led off by a hooker and six or so other women/tramps and a gang of urchins tail gating them, all wanting a slice of the pimping fee.
At least with them, you know there is a good chance of getting out alive. Not so with Iron Michelle.
