In the past after a day or so after doing this the symptom lessen out a lot but now it is still there and probably getting worse. I am not sure is this one of the massive episodiac breakout or what. Lots of plans have to be put on hold.

Anyway best thing is to ask your own doctor, whose advice will be better.

If it works, all STDs and STIs would be cancelled from earth, it should be known and used everywhere, I travelled a lot but never heard about it. I just read several pages from google search, it was studied and developed in Russia in around 1994, nearly 20 years and still unknown and not copied in western countries?

Unfortunately, topical drugs are just that, they work on the skin. Herpes, hiv and many other STIs are more than on the skin (although they can show up as skin infections). So that drug won't kill things you catch because they enter through your urethra (like gonorrhea). And even syphillis, which you catch from the skin, invades the body.

It isn't a cure for herpes, HIV, gonorrhea, chylamdia. MAYBE for skin fungus, but there are so many more things out there that work and are not prescription for that (like clotrimazole).

And yes, real doctor here.

Your answer is clear, one can still get infected, which is the important thing. In your opinion, how much can the percentage of being infected be lowered by the use of miramistin? You said it kills germs on skin but they can still work their way through urethra. Anyway this cuts off the very most of the surface in touch during the action, thus lowering considerably the chances. Or not? (I agree anyway that even if the chances were very low, BB penetrations should be avoided)

interesting, i searched the other countries forums a bit and found someone saying he puts this stuff in his urethra after sex. my reply to that is yikes. but to each their own.

really can't comment on how much it cuts down the potential for infection. i guess you could say in theory, that since syphillis, herpes, hpv and fungal disease is transmitted on the skin that it may reduce this risk if used immediately, but i found no real data on that to be honest.

so, lets think about stis. gonorrhea, hiv, hepatitis b and c, chlamydia are transmitted "internally" that is the girl may have them in her body fluids and getting those fluids in your urethra can transmit the disease, so putting something on the skin after sex won't affect those (although like i said some guy on the german board i think said he puts the stuff into his urethra, now if he is saying he just rubs it on the opening on his dick well, that isn't putting it in there really). herpes, hpv and syphillis are usually spread on the skin. usually. would using this stuff work to prevent those things. hard to know i didn't find any proof of that. so, you could say "would it hurt". no, i understand the stuff is not irritating. but i wouldn't rely on this.

that is my take based on looking at the medical literature. and i will say, don't believe the stuff you read on the internet because its just not accurate a lot of time. i rely on sites like mayclinic. com, webmd, etc. and medline which search all the medical literature. cdc also has useful information.

now. a couple of suggestions if you haven't done this: everyone should get these vaccines, hepatitis b (hep b is much more prevalent in china and is easier to transmit than hiv) , hepatitis a (you get this from eating contaminated food or from oral.fecal transmission) , and if you are under about age 40 or so (even for men) , talk to your doctor about hpv vaccine (right now its recommended for women and younger boys-men but there are ongoing studies on this also). not much to do about hiv, herpes, syphillis, gonorrrhea, chlamydia.

and of course. use condoms. now, there are female condoms which are not latex and to be honest, if a girl uses them. the guys doesn't need to wear one and its just like doing it bare (which it is for the guy).

I think miramistin as a liquid that is applied on the penis after sex would be rather useless in preventing HIV.

As a killer of HIV it might have a degree of preventitive effect against HIV if it could be used effectively as a lube like substance during sex.
