David, Socialjarhead,
Why don't we meet at a hotel Friday afternoon like at 4pm and have a few beers?
I don't get in until 10:30pm this evening. I can do something tomorrow (Saturday). I will be out and about possibly tonight if I'm not too tired.
BTW. If anyone pm's me I can send you my email address that will reach my cellphone in Quito. I can respond right away.

Knock on wood -- I had no problem my first trip with the altitude. Actually helped with the girls for some reason.

Just a heads up to anyone looking for cheap rooms in Quito. Using the Orbitz coupon I mentioned, I got the above mentioned hotel for less than $15 a night, and the Hotel Quito for about $30 a night. (In the case of the Chalet Suisse, I had to add one more occupant to the room to get it over the $40 minimum.)
I am staying at Hotel Othello. It is noisy to say the least. Plan to change to my hostel tomorrow. Charged $25 a day. Extra $10 if a girl comes in.
Upon arriving in Quito after a 30 minute airborne delay due to fog, my first stop in Quito Friday night around 1130pm was NightKat. This was my first time there.
NightKat is charging fees different than what is posted on their sign. Their sign says $30 for a private show and $40 for their salida. They charged $40 and $60 for these. The drink prices are accurate. A beer is still $3. $7 entrance on Friday.
It was odd but It seemed like something stronger than vodka was put in my first drink I had there. I got a buzz off of it very fast. Not normal for me. I know the girls didnt put anything in there.
Hooked up with 2 chicas there the first night in the club. We all had fun. Two friends that played well together. Didnt take either of them. Was exhausted to say the least. There were a good 20 girls roughly.
Saturday was a first stop to Guajira. Found my regular Julie there and she was very friendly. Put in the effort and got the job done. Left there after a few hours and just julie. Were only maybe 6 or 7 girls there at the time.
Went back to NightKat Saturday night and got there about 8pm. Pretty dead until midnight or so. 20 girls max at the peak I would say. Stayed til 3am. Hooked up with a Ruby. She got completely toasted on bottles of wine but was a lot of fun. I paid the private show fee and she let me play with her...but she did not try to do anything extra at that time. She was so drunk she was trying to keep me hard while sitting with her in the club. Stayed with her the rest of the night. Checked out with her at 3am and paid the $60 salida. I knew I was going to regret it about the same time I paid it. She came back to my hotel and slept with me until 9am. She was taking up the whole friggin bed so my sleep was shoddy at best. I asked for toda la noche so I guess 9am qualifies. She left...without even as little as a bj. We were both exhausted. Cant really say it was worth it. The company was nice though. She made some good $$ off the drinks, dances and salida so I gave her $35 when she asked for something when she left. I felt like it was fair considering I didnt get even a bj but got to sleep with her.
At papyanet now and will look at Sunday casa options. Will report back on my results.

David thanks for your last report. Can you explain a little bit about how noisy it is at hotel othello. Is it just street noise during the day? Does it get calmer at night?
Thanks in advance. I am arriving this coming Saturday. First round of beers are on me if you are still in town.

All the noise Ive encountered has been from the street. It is incredibly noisy in the morning and day from traffic. Have not heard much noise (if any really) from people staying there. If it were not for the street traffic I would stay there longer. During the night it is fine. Traffic does not drop off until after 8pm or better.
Update -
Just got back from trying Club Alondras and Club Marques de Sade.
Both were open as of about 5pm Sunday. I walked into Alondras but didnt like what I saw. Just 25 to 30 drinking guys and 1 or 2 women. Left there.
Next store at Club Marques it looked dead inside. I asked to look inside before paying the $3 cover they asked for. They declined so I left. Not a really great neighborhood. Very hard to find.
There is a Club Privado (looks like a casa) around N67 or so but they were not open. One of the guys outside of the Alondras gave my taxi the directions. Lady came to the gate but said they were closed.

I stayed at Hotel Othello last year and agree about all the noise. I will be in Quito on Thursday of this comming week. I am staying at the Apartotel Amaranta at the intersection of Leonidas Plaza and Jorge Washington this year. I haven't stayed there yet, but the neighborhood seems a hell of a lot quieter than on Amazonas.
David, thanks for the latest information. I want to check out Nightcats this trip sometime, maybe durring the week some time when there are less guys, so the numbers are not so much against you.
Last year I went to 270 La Nina, Guajira and a couple of other places that I don't really remember that much. I plan on going to as many as I can within the central area. I took the Trole north and south, and neither place looked like a place I would feel relaxed enough to really enjoy myself.
If anyone wants to meet up for an afternoon adventure some day after Thursday, send me a pm.
Techo rojo closed when I was there in January.
When I was there in march and april I had everytime the same experience: closed. Anybody knows more about it? I know that some girls from this local moved to some locals in the North but I don't know if Techo Rojo in the meantime has closed definitly.

yes. $60 salida. sign said $40. As others note on here, the price charged to gringos may vary.
Update 8-27
Hit La Nina today (yes, missing accent mark).
****** They are open Sundays. ******* If I had known this yesterday I would have gone there. I have not seen this reported anywhere else. Dont recall until what hour. I think she said 8 but it might be 11. They are open til 11pm weekdays.
Still $15 for 15 minutes. Took my girl from last trip and had a good time. Only 2-3 girls there today (a Monday).
Ran into a lady last night that I hung out with last trip and she was working on me more than me on her. I was trying these other 3 bimbos. Hit tequila disco on jose calama until close at 3am. Hung with this German dude (not one of us but I just showed him the site).

Nightcat used to be $15 for a 20/25 minute session on site with a $3 entrance fee that covered one drink. Last year I went there and they said they had moved the business to "la fragada" a bar in the basement of a hostel.

Not sure what the heck is going on, but I was in Nightcats about a month or 2 ago. It was $7 entrance, and a big posted sign right before you walk into the bar with the $15 price. There was also one directly behind the bar.
It was still on the circle near Amazonas (forgot the real street name). Across the street from Nightcats down the block were 2 other clubs, one with fatties called something like Manhattan, and the other was a regular disco, but not enough chicks. You would think it was a gay bar, but it wasn't. Just a bunch of dudes with nowhere to go, and this place was still open at 4:00 am.

yup. prices are posted but are not for us apparently. I havent tried the $15 sex yet. I went for the $30 show that was $40.
If you want anything private, you walk back out the front door and go next door and upstairs to where they have rooms.

Well something has changed thats for sure. I think I was the first one to post about nightcats to famed board member "ezinho" . I could be wrong but regardless I remember seeing that exact same sign($15) behind the bar and that being the set price. There used to be a guy named "gabriel" that worked there and was very friendly. Things change I guess but I certainly wouldn't support that kind of place. As I've said before I wasn't crazy about the service I recieved in ecuador. There were tons of places but yet I was still craving good sex.
If your into lap dances save the airfare and stay in the states. I only support debauchery.
