First report: I'm 0 for 4 at the moment...
As promised, I am reporting on my experiences so far, and sadly, I have nothing to report.
Brutal! Thanks to the kindness of several posters here, I obtained five contacts--3 numbers and 2 emails. I tried all five. There is one guy who mentioned he could hook me up and I will be meeting up with him tomorrow at the lobby of my hotel. The two emails I tried bore no fruit: One was invalid; the other was returned with a response that she's "not that type of girl. " One of the remaining two numbers didn't work and the final number turned out to be very promising at first, but after I arranged everything and finally, after negotiating for 15 minutes, caved on price and agreed to 15K for 3 hours, I just got stood up--the girl never came.
So I'm 0 for 4. Maybe the guy tomorrow will deliver. Luck or no luck, I'll report back with my experiences.
Buyer Beware... (a long cautionary tale, but a good ending)
Ok, so the good news is that I'm not 0 for 5. I'm now 1 for 5, having scored big last night. However, I had to go through quite an experience before I got what I was looking for. Below is the tale of a deal almost gone awry.
Two nights ago, thanks to one of the posters on this board, I got the number of a girl who I thought was not pimped. I called her and was surprised to hear surprisingly good English on the other end. She claimed to be in theater (she'd just come from rehearsal when I'd called, apparently), which I suppose was her way of telling me that she was not short on looks. It turns out she was not short on price either: 15K for 3 hours, 20K for an overnight stay.
I negotiated hard for about 10 minutes before she hung up, staying firm with her rates the whole time. After considering that I'd been in Delhi for three nights and struck out four times, I caved and called her back. I was going to take her for the whole night, 20K be damned. We arranged for her to come to my hotel by 9 PM that night (two nights ago). I waited until 9:30 before calling her, but she didn't pick up. Quite disappointed that I'd been stood up, I walked out to the hotel bar for a drink to see if I could spot any roaming freelance talent. After a drink, and no luck on the freelance front, I started to head to my room when I received a text message from the girl who'd stood me up apologizing and asking to meet up the next day.
I replied back via SMS that I was pissed but I'd give her one more chance to come if she could make 9 PM the following day. She assured me she'd be here. So yesterday, I waited for her once again and, surprise, surpise, she once again failed to come as scheduled. Around 9:30, I got a call from a guy asking if I'd ordered an escort. Very surprised to be hearing from a guy, I asked him how he got my number and who he was, and he told me he was the girl's agent and was on his way to the hotel but had gotten stuck in traffic. I told him I might be the guy he was looking for, but to find out he'd have to come by and call me. I figured pimped or not, I'd take a look without confirming anything.
A full two hours later, the focker shows up in a white SUV with a driver and the girl in the back seat. He called me and told me to meet him outside the hotel to check out the girl, which I did. As upset as I was at how late they were and how much of a royal pain in the ass it was to get some action in Delhi, much of that anger turned to excitement when I saw the girl. She was at least an 8 in looks, gorgeous eyes, very nice real breasts (full C cup), and skint hat was not too dark but dark enough to give her a distinctly Indian look.
Here was the deal. I was to pay up front the full 20K. If I didn't, then they'd simply turn around and call it a day, and there was no negotiating this point (I tried, trust me). Then, to avoid hotel security, I was to go in first, wait for them at the bar, and then a minute later, they'd walk in together. Once I met them at the bar, then the guy would leave and I could take the girl up to my room, thus avoiding security. The whole thing stunk like BS to me and I told him the only way I would agree was if I could take the girl in with me. The guy swore up and down security would stop us, and I told him to either do it my way, and I'd take the chances of dealing with security, or he could fock off into the night.
He thought about it for a minute and then agreed, but I still had to pay 20K up front. The combination of pent-up frustration and the girl looking so good in front of me made me do the unthinkable and I payed up front. I grabbed him by the arm, looked him in the eye and told him that if the girl didn't stay the whole night, I would post his number and all the details on this message board and ruin his American deal flow, and that as soon as I gave him the money, he had to drive me straight to the hotel entrance and drop the girl off first before I'd get out of the car. He seemed somewhat shaken by my aggression, but agreed. We were all in the SUV driving around the hotel while all this happened. I had a distinct feeling that I was being conned and that they'd drive to some deserted place and dump me on the street, but at that point, as stupid as this sounds, I didn't care--neither he nor the driver appeared even remotely threatening to me and I was already very agitated from haivng to negotiate every last point merely to get some tail.
I payed up, he dropped me off as planned, the whole while arguing with the girl in Hindi over some matter that I couldn't understand (I don't speak Hindi at all). I took the girl to the bar, with all the security gurads staring at us because we stuck out so much (I'm East Asian and about 5'10", she was about 5'1" and dressed in tight clothes--not exactly your typical Indian couple, to say the least), and after a drink, I asked her if she wanted to eat dinner. She said she hadn't eaten, so we went to the restaurant and spent the next hour having dinner. After she warmed up to me, she told me that I was an idiot for paying up front, that the whole thing was a scam, and that the whole operation was geared towards getting the money up front, convincing the john to walk in to the hotel first to avoid security scrutiny, and then driving off with the money and the girl.
Apparently, these guys made a killing this way. The scam artists included: a sexy-voiced female operator proficient in English, a different girl (always 8+ in looks) every week, the big and supposedly intimidating driver (he was about 6'1", 220 lbs), and the skinny pimp who did all the talking. She then told me that the only reason why I hadn't gotten ripped off was because I looked like I would get violent (when I grabbed the guy by the arm) and I made it a condition for the girl to come with me before paying.
I don't know if she was blowing smoke up my ass to try to win my confidence or what, but I confirmed with her that she'd be staying the night. She said that she liked me and I had treated her respectfully and bought her dinner, so she'd stay, but normally, she'd just run for the hills. She then proceeded to give me her email address, her direct cell phone number, and told me that next time, I should just call her directly.
We then finished dinner, went up to my room, and then the fun began with a mutual shower in which she BBBJ'ed me after washing me. We then moved to the bed and finished there after drying ourselves off. She was extremely responsive and almost totally GFE but wouldn't DFK. (WTF? BBBJ but no DFK? Weird.) 15 minutes later I rose to the occasion again and repeated, trying just about every position imagineable before shooting my second load. Shortly after that, she told me she lived in Mumbai (where I'm headed tomorrow), and that she could head back with me and spend a week with me, all day and all night, if I would pay off her "commitment" to the pimped scam operation--it would be $2500 (USD). I was seriously tempted, but passed on that, and then as I was getting sleepy, I got uncomfortable with having her in my room while I was sleeping, so I told her she could leave if she wanted to. 15 minutes later, she decided she'd take me up on that and called her driver, who was here in 15 minutes.
Lessons learned:
1. Never, EVER pay up front. I was a total idiot for doing so, and although it worked out for me this time, I still payed 20K for two or so hours and two shots. As sweet as the sex was, that is way too much for India.
2. Don't ever buy any BS about how hard it is to get in to a 5-star hotel with a girl. This girl was obviously not with me, was a total eye-catcher, and was dressed in a tight shirt that very clearly showed her assets for all to see. I had zero problem getting her in, and we passed at least 5 different sets of guards, bellboys, doormen, etc. Hell, I even had dinner with her!
3. I had five different leads from various people who helped me out via PM. Only ONE converted, and it almost didn't! That's a 20% batting average. The more options you have, the better.
4. I have never been unable to negotiate price, EVER, in any city I've ever mongered in (I. E. At least 10 US cities, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Madrid, Cancun, Bangkok, Hanoi). I have solid negotiating skills too. If someone is completely unwilling to budge on price, maybe that's a sign that you should just walk away.

That really is a report of distinction Doberpit! Thanks for being so elaborate.
I still think it is easier to get better girls for a fraction of cost that you blew, but there need to be right contacts. Especially in areas like Paharganj, if one gets the right pimp. White, brown and yellow meat is aplenty.

Why not get together and do something exciting together?
Yes, if compatibilty isn't there and if too many pushy and aggressive characters get together,it can be an utter waste of time and frustrating, but may be some of us should give it a try. A group could get together and costs could always be shared.
