Be careful they are still hardwired into the MATRIX
In my country a single man can't say he wen't to Pattaya with out people knowing he is a sex tourist. I have to make up a story about going some place else in Thailand. Still working on my cover for going next month. You guys have any good ideas or suggestions?
My friends all know where I go and why I go there. I have travelled and punted with some of my best buddies for years and some of them are wilder and crazier than I am. But I understand from bitter experience that appearances have to be maintained for certain straight laced business associates and conservative family members. It is not wise to divulge too much personal stuff to these individuals. They are still hardwired into the MATRIX and if told the truth, they will do you harm. I don't even like telling these folks I am going to Thailand. Even the dumbest and most naive ones will catch on sooner or later."Natty, you are going to Thailand, AGAIN? Didn't you go there last year and the year before and the year before. And the year before that? You must really like it there, you go so often. What do you do there?" So I make up fictional itineraries for these folks. Last year for example, I went to Southern China and visited Dali and Lijiang. I had a make believe great time. Actually I did visit HKG and Macau so I wasn't too far off. LOL. Another year I was trekking in Nepal. The year before that I was visiting Bagan and Mandalay, Burma. Fortunately I have been to all these countries so I can describe things pretty good and have a hard drive of pictures to back it up. My storys hold up because I have been traveling for decades and I am known for being well travelled. Most people don't really care about where you go as long as you are not going somewhere hedonistic and naughty, so big elaborations are not necessary. Just tell them you had a good time, the country was very beautiful and the people were friendly. The conversation will quickly move on to more mundane topics.
