Yesterday a micro-ônibus plunged from a viaduct down on Avenida Brasil. 7 passengers killed and 11 passengers hurt.
The accident might have been caused because of a dispute between a passenger and the driver.

Probably crushed. Extremely sad and tragic that innocent people died over the silliness of an argument. Something to think about, next time I get in an Omnibus. The general theme in Rio lately has been to avoid vans and buses so as to not get robbed, rapped or be in a horrific traffic accident. World Cup and Olympic games want to welcome you!!!! Oh boy!

first of all, the gents (bubba boy and sperto) who put all of the necessary information down into a single handy dandy guide, deserve a fucking award or commission! that information is spot on accurate and worth it's weight in gold down here in rio. i personally can't thank you guys enough! this is my 3rd trip down here in the last 8-9 months and because of your very accurate and detailed information, i have saved myself so much time, energy, and money; this is by far my best trip yet.
