Pattaya Reports

Hi All,

I am planning my first Thai trip in the last week of September. I will there for 1 week and want to have fun with Thai girls. After reading thru the reports I decided either Phuket or Pattaya. I would like to settle down at one place for the whole week rather than traveling in between the trip. I am right now in favor of Phuket as after reading thru the forums I got the impression that Phuket is more relaxed and have younger girls, unlike Pattaya which is more business oriented and have women in mid 30's. My preferences for this trip in order are quality of girls (young and personality) , good Thai restaurants and some shopping. I am OK with paying premium prices if the quality (both girls and food) is better. In a high season I would have gone to Phuket as quality of girls will almost same every where. Being a low season I need some advice. Let me know if any of my impressions above are wrong and please suggest which one to go for on my first experience of LOS.

(...) i am right now in favor of phuket as after reading thru the forums i got the impression that phuket is more relaxed and have younger girls, unlike pattaya which is more business oriented and have women in mid 30's.[/quote]i have never been to phuket (other than passing through on my way to krabi) , so it is difficult to compare, but you will find "young" women in pattaya as well. most of the women who look to be in their twenties are actually 30-something and those who are 20-something look ****. if given the choice, i take experience over young-looks anytime. but i can hardly imagine that once they are 30+ these working girls leave phuket and move to pattaya. you will find a gaussian distribution of age everywhere: some young, some old and the majority in between, say around 30 (but looking younger).

quality of girls is a never ending debate, but most old hands will confirm that "paying premium prices" is no guarantee at all for getting good service. tit! (this is thailand!) : if the girl does not like you, she will quote a high price as a polite way of saying "no". if you take her up on her offer, you have just bought yourself an expensive starfish. agogo clubs are best to "sample" the wares: for the price of a ladydrink you get her attention for a while and can see if you are "compatible". don't be shy but tell her what you want her to do. these girls have heard (and done) it all. soi 6 is a cornucopia of female charm. it is mainly for st only, but at those prices you can afford to miss once in a while. again, offer the girl a drink, go inside the bar, check her out and if you are a match, go for the room upstairs. if she was really good, try to persuade her to go with you next day on an lt assignment to your hotel.

as to shopping, pattaya has some nice malls: central plaza is quite good. do try out their food court in the basement! royal garden plaza is smaller, but not bad either. their food court is upstairs, quieter and more up-market (read: more expensive, but still good value). my thai gf likes to shop in royal garden plaza as they have more thai brands of clothing and shoes. but if she wants books, she drags me to central plaza. one place to avoid is mike's shopping mall: full of fake brands and actually more expensive than royal garden plaza.

I have been here for some days, I will try to make my contribution to forum on this Pattaya subject.

Body Massage Parlours. Tried Honey Massage, which was a big deception after all the talk here, I arrived around 6 pm, perhaps 20-25 girls in the fishbowl, many smilling to me, but quality was really disappointing. I confirm the price structure. 1.800 for the red badge, and 2. 500 for the blue badge. Waited 15 minutes and was about to leave, a situation that was upseting me a little bit, when a saw I think number 125, a blue badge girl. 23 yo that would meet my minimum standards. Her English was almost non existent, she said that was the reason she worked there instead of a Bar or a Go-Go. Overall a nice session, but I was truly disappointed with the line up.

I will also tried PP Body Massage, on the same street as Dream-Teen, I almost never saw anything written about this parlour on this forum (before Honey, all the talks where about the ones on 2nd road) , but I was very impressed!

It seemed more oriented to Asian customers, but the line up was much better, I found at least 4-5 girls I would have chosen, and most of all, I found number 525, a very beatiful girl, with whom I had a very good session. Same price structure. 1800, and 2500.

PP is worth a visit, the room was in a hotel, next door, but it was ok. Honey had better rooms, very good indeed, but good rooms is not enough for a good experience.

Sometimes I see in the Bangkok forum, people asking about the body slide, on both parlours, I had the body slide service.

Oil Massage. Visited Dream Teen, and had a session with PIM, she was nice, but the web photo is outdated by some years, felt a little bit cheated when I saw the real girl, but still an ok experience.

Bar Scene. Soi 7 and 8 were a disappointement from some years ago, quality is lower now, no doubts about it, soi 8 seemed almost a ghost from last time I was here, perhaps in higher season things will improve, but empty bars with few ugly and old girls, was a deception. Got a girl from one bar in Soi 7, LT for 1500, plus 300 bht bar fine.

I plan to visit Soi 6, but walking around made me an impression similar to soi's 7 and 8, not very good quality.

Go- Go's . Visited a few, best ones, Silver Star, Airport and Heaven above, worst ones, Alcatraz and Happy (some years ago, was much better) , in all of them you can find the young and beautiful girls, but of course, you pay much more. Got a 21 yo girl from Rhino, very nice, very beatiful, but it was 3. 000 baht LT, and 600 BF.

In general, I agree with something it was written here some days ago, you still can have fun , but if you are looking for young and beatiful girls be prepared to pay a lot.

I have been crossing Beach road almost everyday, I never asked for a price essentially because average quality is so low I wouldn't go for free. I already saw 4-5 doable girls, but it wasn't the right timing.

They may be stunners in some people's eyes though LOL

All places on earth have women of all ages. But seeing that you have been to neither location you won't know what you are missing by choosing one over the other. But I can assure that if you choose Phuket you will be cheating yourself. Bangla Road is small and it is shit. But don't take my word for it. You can somewhat judge the action by how many reports a section has. Pattaya 10756, Phuket 2733.

I will add that I believe you have a higher chance of being scammed or harmed in Phuket just because the scene is so much smaller and there are more than enough predators to go around.

I have noticed that many times the beer bars will put their best lookers out there as barkers only. You need to ask if they go with customer (s) before you sit down and buy a drink.

Beach Road can be interesting. I will say that 90% of the gals are well below par. However, it is like fishing, once in a while you will catch something worthwhile. Had a few that made me wonder "what is she doing here." Met two young good looking prospects last time, but no I'd.

If you don't see anything you fancy check back a little later in the day.

The standard price is 500bht ST, and some small amount of "taxi" money is always appreciated.

Quality young girls can easily be found and you state that your willing to pay a premium (although legend has it stunners can be found for less than 1K LOL). Good Thai restaurants are everywhere, and shopping? Take your pick

The most happening road of Phuket bangla road is not even close to any soi of south Pattaya beach forget about Walking Street.

Pattaya police have set up roadblocks every day and are waving over falang motorbike drivers to check for licenses. A Thai or International Drivers License is required to drive here. The fine is B400. They are writing a ton of tickets. I mean a ton of tickets. In Pattaya (2nd Road and Beach Road) Pattaya Police seem to accept any US state issued driver license.

In Jomtien we got stopped twice and were told they would not accept a US kicense, just an International drivers license. Both times we told the Jomtien Police we would like to pay the fine on the spot. Both times they accepted a bribe. We paid B100 once abd B200 the second time. I hate crooked cops but we saved time and money by paying the bribe.

Be careful out there.
