They are in PuXi (Pu West), the western part of Shanghai (and not PuDong, Pu East). So lesson learned but I don't know what advice to give you guys on where to put your clothes, keep them near you or away from the girl, either way they can take your stuff it seems.

Great review man! Sorry that happened to you. I always take my pants and put them where I can see them. Never behind me or in a locker if I am in that type of situation. If at a spa type place I bring my wallet with me even if its frowned on. As soon as I felt the woman was holding me down I would have realized what she is doing. You got off easy. That's not much money stolen. In that situation there is nothing you can do and you would basically just put the spotlight on yourself. One suggestion is if you can't speak Chinese. If you are traveling to Shanghai via transit to another country you need a visitor visa. When you get out of the airplane, go to immigration. Make sure you stand on the far right lane that says transit. I stood in the foreingner lane for about 30 min, then I was asked to stand in the transit visa lane for another 20 min. Very irritating after a 12 hour flight. Make sure you have the address to the hotel and itinerary for your connecting flight. This will make the process a little faster. Also, don't fly China eastern if you don't have to. That plane must of been from the 80's (no tv, usb out let, bathrooms looked like a public street toilets), good thing I had an I pad and computer. I was able to binge watch Westworld. Seriously, that had to be the worse airplane I have ever ridden on.

Indonesia Jakarta and Bali (pricing decent, but traffic is a mess in Jakarta).

Tokyo (I like this one spot called morenjin. Big tit Japanese girls.).

Shanghai. (little on the pricer side).

Korea (had a hard time finding a lot of places).

Next destinations I would like to try.

Germany, Malaysia and Brazil.
