Bunky, since the red shirt incident, the airport has been a morgue. I have landed several times since, at all different hours, and each time, have walked up to passport control, only to find the oficer reading the paper. Get a seat up front in the plane, so 400 people don't find themselves in front of you. Are you checking luggage, or hand carry only? If the latter, you will be checked in to your hotel by 1.00 AM. Tons of things to do at that hour. Some SC bars will be closing, and while it doesn't compare to the NEP parking lot, there will be many girls eager to please. If not, a stroll down to soi 3 will yield at least 100 girls whom you can choose. Last resort, the parking lot.

I always arrive in Thailand at that time of night (20+ trips) and have never had a problem, especially in the Nana area. I have been out and about until 6-7 AM and still see many freelancers in SC and Nana parking lot. There is even the occasional gem (9 and 10s) looking to hookup. I was out one morning and saw an absolute stunner. She was so pretty, I asked her why she didn't have any customers. She said most men either think she is "too pretty" or a ladyboy.
