1) The stranger in question just happened to be recommended by a senior, very helpful monger who himself had availed the SP's services. Granted that it was a leap of faith on my part but then I think this forum was created precisely for this reason alone. Also I did my homework beforehand. As for security you have to place a certain amount of trust on the SP (any SP for that matter) as he is more at risk from LE. The SP in this particular case was a very decent individual.

2) As for someone you bump into while on a mongering jaunt, well grow a beard, wear shades and a cap. It would be quite foolish if you ventured as is in broad daylight. Choose your timing carefully.
