The Jasmine Hotel down at the end of Soi BJ was a spot of relative quiet in the mess of Wakling Street back in November of last year.

I note that a new gogo, Bada Bing, has set up there recently. Is it noisier now? I assume Bada Bing is at the end of the soi nearest WS?

Now I come to think of the pros and cons again, a point against it is the fact that all the rooms have cooking facilities and there's only one exit, so a fire risk. Anybody care to recommend a similar place that doesn't have that problem? I. E. Cheap, not too noisy, close to walking street?

I've stayed in seven or eight hotels in Thailand. BKK and Pattaya, and never came across aircon that's not cold enough. Too cold, very often, but never too hot. I guess it is common for it to be turned off when you're not in the room so that it's hot when you come back, so perhaps that's been your bad experience in the past? If so I'd say start with one of the higher end girl-friendly places and then experiment with a less expensive hotel if you want. As long as it's not the peak of the high season when rooms are scarce you can always crawl back to your safe cool haven if it doesn't work out.

I spent a month in Pattaya in March / April and then went back in mid July for another month. I only did a partial trip report for March / April due to internet connection issues. This time I stayed in four different hotels and will comment on them in the hotel section.

I started out on Soi 6 and stayed at Queen Vic. I planned to stay there my entire trip, but issues with the front desk * one morning had me demand my money back and checked out by 11:00 am with no reservation for another hotel. It was a Sunday morning and the manager was not there.

I wanted to hook up with several ladies on S-6 that I had been with in March, but Oy from 3 Angels had moved on and I attempted to hook up with Hom from Route 69 bar, but I was busy when she called me and she was busy when I called her, so it didn't happen. I will say that both of them were excellent when I was with them in March / April. Hom gets a little loud when she has an orgasm. I was in various bars on S-6 and especially Spider Girl bar where I like to play pool. I had played pool with (all on different days) Chompoo, Da and another lady who I met on my last trip when she was at Chili bar, but I can't remember her name. After that, every time I walked by those bars they would call to me to come in for a drink, I would say that due to poor management, I would not be buying any drinks there. They usually didn't know what to say, except one time a lady from O bar said OK keep walking then. That is exactly what I planned to do darling. I think many bars are concerned about making money for themselves and they don't give a shit about the ladies. Thai logic just doesn't work well for me.

There is a bar complex on 2nd Road and Soi 10. If you are on S-10 and walk straight into the complex and go all the way to the back wall, there is a bar. There may be two on the back wall but it is the farthest from 2nd Road. I can't remember the name, but if someone mentioned it I may remember. Anyway, there is a cutie there named Tan or Tam who I bar fined. In the bar she was fun, but in bed she was way better. This lady is tight even though she has a daughter (7 year old I think). If you hook up with her, I don't think you will be disappointed. She is a good kisser and she will go down on you and overall will take good care of you with no complaining. At least that was my experience.

For anyone interested, I found what I was after.

Tried "The Best" at the Beach Road end of 13/3 (across from Sin Bin) again to no avail. The oil massage was good, and the (chubby but young) girl doing it was jovial, but no extras. In fact, she was a bit shy in the beginning when she came in and I was sitting there naked. I think she was pretty new by the way the other girls talked to her. Immediately next door is a massage place with girls wearing orange shirts. They have the legit foot massage chairs in the lobby, but if you're a single guy and ask for the oil massage, you'll be taken to a private room with locking door upstairs. There is a mix of girls, but in my experience it's best to let the girl chose you. Looks don't matter as much as skill and willingness here. Got the 1 hour oil massage. My girl was older, but not bad looking, soft skin and a big rack. And she was very nice. Long oil massage, very playful, lots of action on the little guy.
