How is flying into Clark International Airport? I might be visiting in 4-5 months and was looking to fly directly to AC instead of Manila. Is the airport better than Manila? Or worth it to avoid the hassle of traffic and such in Manila? I also asked in another forum about the Hana Hotel or if anyone could give a short review on the budget lodging situation in AC?

He's a bit paranoid with very little first hand knowledge. Even though CRK is a sleepy airport compared to NAIA, Manila is not as bad as portrayed by Vealy. I've flown in and out of Manila on countless occasions with no problems. If you know what you are doing and not totally clueless and / or stupid it's pretty much like any other international airport. Don't be afraid to fly to this airport if you would like to visit some places other than Angeles City. Also, the bus ride from Manila to AC on the Victory Liner is only a few bucks instead of the $50 he quotes assuming you don't mind taking public transportation. It leaves out of Pasay regularly which is close to the airport and will only take a couple hours to get there. In fact, it's a lot of fun compared to taking the 'Fly The Bus' with a bunch of sweaty fatass foreigners.
