I finally tried Rain. Went with the incall option. Turns out I had to go to the girl's apartment! It was weird walking around an apartment complex looking for the building and the unit, but had a nice time with Vicky, a true definition of a spinner. Felt safe, but I'm not sure I'd do it late at night. BTW, she asked for a house fee on top of the published rate. Didn't see that coming. And yes, the phone operator is a little rude, but I suppose she has to deal with a lot of mongers. I kind of think she's funny now, and she's efficient.

Most girls on wechat are not real. All messages are answered by computer. You never talk to a real person. Computer answers all your questions and calls up girl to go to you. They pay someone for this service. Total scam.

Can anyone suggest a big boobed provider? I enjoyed Baobao from SNG recently. She was nice. Looking for more.

Since the crackdown started none of the working girls I have met used their actual photos on Wechat it just makes it too easy for the police to pick them up for free service or.

As to the responses. It not really a computer generating the message to you. However, it is typically an "agent" at a computer or bank of phones. I had a Chinese girl friend for a while in Abu Dhabi that along with her sister (in this case actually sister) ran the service. When ever she came over out came half a dozen or more phones. So what happens is the agent has the "girl's" account open on their computer or a phone and when they assign the booking the agent signs out and the girl signs in before arrival. If you are known to the touts as being a good customer then you can generally make sure that the girl will meet the expectations. The best way to do that is if you have not had the girl visit before show her the messages and make sure she understands the "contract" before you get in bed. If there is resistance tell her to contact her agent. Most touts will then instruct the girl to perform the requested services. If not send her off and just pay the "taxi" fee.

I'm not going to bore you with a day-by-day account, so here are my experiences by topic.

Judy's / Manhattan. Went to both places at least 3 nights. My take away was that Manhattan has some better looking ladies however Judy's is more laid back. Forget about price because it will be 1,000ST and 1,500 LT on average at either place. Me personally I prefer the atmosphere at Judy's. There is a contingent of ladies at Manhattan who dominate the bar area and talk shit if you don't take someone home with you. And they are obnoxious about it. Drunkenly obnoxious so it isn't a pleasant experience. The owner has to get rid of these bitches. Ladies at Judy's tend to be older but honestly there are some young hotties at Judy's too. I took 2 out of Judy's and it was 1,000st. The other night I went too late (or early - 4 am).

HOTEL. Hilton on Huashan. - The Hilton is a total shit-hole for a western traveler who has a certain level of expectation. My room had a carpet that was so old and worn I was leary of taking my socks off. Also in general the room was just really tired.

Hostess Bars. PLENTIFUL across from the Hilton. I only went to 1 at 4 am after no ladies could be found at Judy's or Manhattan. I went to Tiger Cats. This was a small, dark, run down bar. A dive bar but I liked it. The ladies weren't impressive looking but fun conversation. They offered a special massage for 100 rmb and an extra special deal for 500 rmb. I never took them up on the offer but I feel like anything may be available.

Regular bars and restaurants. Shanghai Brewery is a good place for a nice IPA and pizza. I went to Zapatas on Tuesday and the food sucks. Worst burger ever. The margaritas are also shit. I'm not some food connoisseur, I'm just saying don't go to Zapatas and expect a good margarita or a good burger. I also visited the bar at the Steakhouse. Shangri La. GREAT. Go see Phillip. He is a great drink engineer. Also. The SPOT down the street from Judy's. Meh. The staff is attentive and there are plenty of westerners but just not impressed. Blah. I also get the impression from The Spot that while westerners are there, they just don't like us. That's OK as there are plenty of other options. AVOID.

Shanghai Nightlife Guide. I was very disappointed by the overall selection and will probably switch to Rain in Shanghai. The girls seem hotter there. It seems that although SNG has many girls, HALF are never available like Susan, Nancy, Bella. It seems the SNG owner wants to list them but the listings are irrelevant as they are NEVER available. I did have a meeting with Tessa and it was a COMPLETE FAILURE. She arrived for the 1 HR appt which was cut short by 30 minutes. Of the 30 minutes I spent, she spent 15 minutes in the bathroom, 10 with me and 5 changing / unchanging. WHAT A RIP-OFF!

I would recommend using a different service as SNG's ladies do not do a good job.

I had watched the seemingly drunk waiter make it. He had one shaker full and two glasses for two orders. The first one he filled to the top with the drink plus an ample filling of ice. The second only came half way up the glass, also with an ample filling of ice. He scratched his head for a second then filled the rest of the glass with ice and tossed a lemon wedge on top. Also it isn't the sort of place where they use Cointreau.

I remember thinking that I hope I'd get the first and full one. No luck. I got the one that was literally half nothing but ice. Really half.

I showed it to the manageress who told me it was a real margarita and that was that. I just gave the drink back to her. It seems like a great place for people but how can a bar suck that bad?

Anyway, I used 5 of them so far, and the service has been pretty good. Maybe they didn't think you'd be a repeat customer. I have started trying Rain. So far, pretty good. You can read my report on my experience with Vicky below. I wish there was something like Kitty's in Beijing here in Shanghai. Oh well. Have fun and thanks for the great report!

Maria's service is not that good, and her webpage / SNG search claim various services provided but in fact she has no interest in and dislikes providing them (CIM as one example). This is just to attract more customers, rather than giving you a better idea what to expect. She is also late 40's which is also a big difference. So I did not much care for the deceptions. Her rates are also higher, but without the excellent service. Whereas Beverly and Cathy provide what they say. If you sign up for Rain's WeChat she provides notification of some special rates.

Looks like you suffered deceptions with Maria and I with Lisa. If this was a one time occurrence, I would dismiss it as bad luck, however this was not the first time (third actually) with SNG for me so I will give Rain a try and also see about Helen and Friends.

She had a tattoo (tribal like) on her arm although it wasn't in the picture. I handed her 100 rMB and said no thank you. She was quite unhappy but SNG called me immediately. I told them she didn't look like the pick. They sent me a girl named Snow who was a complete knockout and wonderful (she is gone now). I have tried 5-6 others on SNG and they all filled the need and looked like the pic. Some where more friendly. Some were business. I have yet to try Beverly, Bao Bao and Carol. They were out of town my last trip. I look forward to it.

So with SNG, like Judy's and everywhere else, your mileage may vary. I have taken some home from Judys and manhattans. Had my wins, had my losses.

I will agree H1. I do like Judy's more. Always have. The girls are a little less beautiful and seem to know it. Most try a little harder. I've never had a wonderful time from manhattans but picked up a couple I repeated from Judy's.
