I went by there at 8:30 PM Sunday and there were about six or seven girls, some riding, some standing. They are not just two blocks east of Cach Mang, however, they are on the whole length of Tu Xuong. One or two cute ones but nobody my type.

Afterwards I went past the Independence Palace around 9:30 PM. Nobody there. I have seen the action there at 11:30 PM, but it really must start late.

Incidentally, I'd really like to hear from someone who has taken these girls, as I've yet to sample a single one. I am too worried about a setup with the cahn sat. The cahn sat surely must know what's going on. I assume they are getting a piece of the action to permit it.

Have any of you had any problems taking these girls? It really spooks me to try to pick up a girl on such a busy street, with everybody driving by fully aware of what you're doing.

I agree with the comment that many of the pics posted here are not what I would call stunners. These three look pretty good but I would want to chat a bit to be sure I do not have a primma donna with a million rules.
As for prices it seems to me that the regular bar girls rate is still $60 for long time although some of the bars are trying to apply a drinks levy or even a bar fine. I walked out several times a week or so ago.
The upmarket bars like Catwalk and Casino Royale seem to have $150 as the asking rate for short time only. The girls or the system seem to have problems with long time but will negotiate to $100 for short time. My experience is that the service is then very rushed and full of limitations.
As a general comment I have found it rare that a stunner anywhere delivers enthusiatic service as they seem to put themselves on some sort of pedestal.

Earlier this year I wondered into the Bar Sai Gon around the corner from the Caravel. There were about 20 ladies to pick from, over half 6 or above (IMO). Left with a girl names Ni Na (a solid 8.5) for $40usd and went to a mini hotel. All in all a good time with a very cute girl who seemed to enjoy what she was doing. My only complaint is having to use the mini hotel. Part of me was always waiting for the cops or someone to show up.

My question is does anyone know of a brothel like faculty in HCMC? I realize my dilemma is not unique and there are GF hotels. I’m just not in a position to use one. I figure with all the action in the city there has to be something else out there. I know about the MP and salons but am looking for a full service in-house operation. Any help would be appreciated.

U2 is still there but they have cleaned up the back a little bit - probably call it a renovation.
There is another bar down the street near the thang long hotel and also a non-girly bar.
Not seen the Hard Rock.

Can confirm what Sudsoz says. U2 still going strong,even saw a western couple sitting in there a few months ago. Hard rock has been gone a long time now. The girly bar further down is next to Shadow Bar ,been in once for a short time but nothing spectacular in there and left after one drink.

Many thanks. The Hard Rock is/was on the same side of the street as U2. Could have folded since I was there last though.

There is a nice massage+ HJ place in district 3 on Dien Bien Phu Street (near where it intersects with Vuon Chuoi Street). The girls are cute and friendly and will let you touch them freely. Each girl is assigned a number and she will usually tell you to ask for her number when you return. The price is 50,000 VND plus a 100,000-200,000 VND tip for the girl. (The locals only pay 100,000VND, but the girls will try to get you to pay 200,000VND if you are a foreigner). I asked some locals how much they earn in a day. A waitress in a very nice restaurant (the kind you go to on special occassions) told me she earns 40,000 VND for eight hours of work. A high school teacher with a university education told me that she earns 60,000 VND a day. A girl who worked as a tour guide told me she earns 100,000 VND a day. So tipping 100,000 for one hour of service is plenty although the girl may pretend otherwise.

Some bj places I've discovered in HCMC:

324 Dien Bien Phu, Binh Thanh District (west of Hang Xanh intersection)

112 Tran Tuan Khai, District 5 (Near Tokyo Hotel)

Typically, you'll pay 100,000 VND plus a 100,000-200,000 VN tip for the girl. Expect to pay an extra 50,000 if a motorbike driver goes with you. He'll want his commission. It seems like most of the motorbike drivers will want to take you to the place on Ly Thai To in District 3 if you tell them you want a massage. I would avoid this place since they were very pushy, lied to me and tried to rip me off. Anyone know of more bj places?

I'm going to Viet Nam at the end of the year and the information on here has been very helpful. I'm wondering though, do any of you guys know of VIP places like the hands-free restaurant mentioned earlier on in this thread? Girls on Tu Xuong are street walkers, their price is 150,000 for ST. If you are paying 300,000 it's too expensive. They are like girls on NGuyen thi Minh Khai

I just returned from another visit to Vietnam and thought it was time for me to contribute to the forum instead of just being an observer. My favorite massage location in HCM City is the Lido Health Club located at 265 Pham Ngu Lao St. in Dist. 1. The Lido Health Club can be found on the 2nd floor of the Que Huong - Liberty 4 Hotel. Telephone #848-836-4556.

The facility is extremely nice and very clean. The facility offers dry sauna, wet sauna, hot tub and cool tub along with showers. The cost of a massage is 100,000 VND and additional foot/leg massage is 50,000 VND. Most of the girls are attractive and friendly. The service is always fantastic. Tips usually run 100,00 VND for a massage and 150,000-200,000 for massage with happy ending. The girls will ALWAYS ask if you want the happy ending. The girls always try to up the tip as they do everywhere so keep in mind that the tip is at the discretion of the customer. I have only had to speak to management about one girl demanding a specific tip. She thought I was an uninformed foreigner and demanded $30.00 US. The girl was fired on the spot and I have not seen her working again. The management is very attentive to the foreign customer. The Lido Health Club is an upscale massage facility with excellent customer service.

I was in HCM City from October 14-21. I always stay at the same GF hotel and never have any problems. During my last visit, the hotel staff informed me that the police had been making nightly checks at many of the hotels. They explained that the police were checking for foreigners with VN girls staying in their rooms overnight. The staff advised that I may have to have an additional room if I were having any overnight guests. I thought the staff was possibly trying to make some extra money even though this had never happened in the past. Two days later the police showed up at the hotel and made a quick check. I was then convinced that the staff was being straight forward with me about the police situation. I rented a second room since I had a GF coming into town for a few days and did not want any problems. The staff gave me a discounted rate of $20.00 US per day for the 2nd room and made sure my GF always had the key to the 2nd room, just in case the police decided to make another check.

Just thought I would pass this advisory along to everyone and happy travelling!

Com Nieu Sai Gon Restaurant is located at 59 Ho Xuan Huong Street in District 3. Telephone #848-930-2888. The food is great and the service is outstanding. The restaurant offers a very large selection of dishes at very good prices. A party of 4 can eat a very large meal with drinks for about 300,000 VND. The service is better than any other restaurant I have visited in HCM City. Give it a try and I think all of you will truly enjoy the dining experience.

I almost forgot to mention the many beautiful VN girls that also dine at the restaurant. An additional treat!

Some of the bars were putting coveralls over the girls outfits in response to some street activity that I could not see.
But my hotel is GF business as usual!
