---Travel light. After losing 2 or 3 suitcases and having others arrive too late to do any good I only take carry-on. Plus there is no waiting at the baggage carousel and that means you get to the immigration/customs lines before those other losers who are still waiting at the baggage carousel and you get outta the airport faster. Plus coming back from Lima to Bermuda, you have to wait at the baggage carousel in Miami and pick up your baggage anyway, only to get through customs and drop it off again so you can wait at the baggage carousel in Bermuda again. No thanx.

---Carry-on....downside is no liquids over 3 ounces and those gotta be in ziplock bags. No prob....just buy toothpaste, deoderant*and shampoo in Lima. You can take*2 carry-ons. Make sure they are gonna fit on the plane...1*in the overhead bin and 1*under the seat in front of you. I learned to roll my clothes like the army grunts to take up less space. And there is a washer/dryer in the*penthouse in Lima. If ya pack a laptop keep it easy access 'cause ya gotta put it thru x-ray seperately.

About 66 degrees and partly cloudy. Feels cooler 'cause of the humidity....like Bermuda. You'll need a sweatshirt or light jacket. I picked up a leather jacket at the mall in Miami for $150 and I'll take that. 2/3 pairs pants, maybe 1 good pair of Dockers. 4/5 shirts. Remember, you're only gone 8 days and 2 days are spent traveling.

---Power tools...Lima is on 220v electricity. Electrical stuff here ain't gonna work there. No sense taking the hairdryer unless you got a converter. Same thing with a laptop or Ipod*if you are gonna want to charge it up. I bought a converter for $25 at Radio Shack (in Lima) and I always take it with me. *

---Entertainment...take your own condoms...quantity depends on your stamina. I suggest the flavored ones. The chicas will appreciate the cherry flavor as they are slurping on ol' wally. Of course, you may want a bareback blowjob, known as a bbbj in our circle. That's fine, just remember the risk.

Some guys will pick up some trinkets to give the girls. Like thongs, t-shirts, chocolates, perfume, bracelets, etc. A $15 t-shirt that says Miami on it can be a big hit with your favorite chica. The gift doesn't have to be expensive. An $8000/year job in Lima is a great paying job. You can always pick up some massage oils, lotions or bubblebath in Lima. ---Cash...There is a lot of counterfeit money floating around foreign countries. Take only newer, crisp bills so there is no problem. Current exchange rate is $1 US = $2.95 Peruvian Sols. (You can check here [url]http://finance.yahoo.com/currency?u[/url]) So basically 3 to 1. You'll need cash to pay for the apartment, whatever you need to gamble with and entertainment. Food, drinks and taxi's are cheap. At Tequila Rock, the nightclub we'll be in several times, it cost $30 sols to get in and drinks are kinda expensive. If we hang out in there for a coupla hours, not unusual to spend $100 to $150 US. A Redbull and vodka is about $5 US, which is expensive for Lima. If we get started doing shots of tequila and buying girls drinks, it can get a little expensive. If ya buy a chica a drink, they almost always get the most expensive drink they can. Must be some sorta secret rule for them, don't know why.

Keep this scenario in mind. We've had several drinks, walk into Tequilas at midnight, have 6 more doubles, grab a beautful chica and do 5 shots and then get back to the apartment at 2:30. If you pound the chica for 5 minutes and then passout or go throw up...I would count that night as a loss. Just like football, never lose sight of the goaline.

---You're in a foreign country...Don't be stupid! Always pay attention to your surroundings. Don't walk down a dark alley at night by yourself. Do have a wingman. Never carry more cash than you need. Keep all passports, ID's and extra cash in the safe in the apartment. Never leave anything you don't want stolen laying around the apartment when you have a chica there or even when you're not there. ---Don't EVER drink tap water. Unless you like excruciating stomach cramps, Niagara Falls-like diarrhea, high fevers and teeth chattering chills. I speak from experience. Don't brush your teeth with tap water. Keep your mouth shut in the shower. I even avoid ice in most places.Use only bottled water. Watch what you eat. Be careful about eating eggs, I avoid them. If you start feeling a little queasy, go to the pharmacy...they've got some good drugs. You don't want to upchuck on some pretty chica's head while getting a bbbj....kinda ruins the moment.

---Chicas...Remember, when we leave the country, we have to put all the toys back in the toybox. This is a rental propostion only. They are good actresses, don't fall in love. Treat them like you would treat your favorite girlfriend. Open doors for them. Give them compliments...and I don't mean...Gawd DAM those are some big ol' tities! !!!! Tell them how soft their skin is, how beautiful their eyes are, etc. Learn a little spanish. For the most part, they don't speak much english. Always negotiate price and how long and if you want something extra. If I ask a chica to spend the night, I always find out when they have to leave in the morning...and I make sure they know I want something in the am before they go. To some chicas, all night means they leave at 6am and maybe you didn't get to sleep till 3 or 4. If you really like a chica, ask for her cell #. See when she's available. Maybe you can hook up with her for a whole day...or 2 or 3. When you ask how much, always negotiate them down. If they say $150 say no...$100. It is expected to negotiate. If you accept whatever they first say, you only raise the price for the rest of us. Don't do it. The going rate is about $100 US for a couple hours. $150 for all night. But I've had many for $100 for all night (toda la noche) or $80 for a couple of hours. If they say $200 for a couple of hours...you should act offended. I've usually paid around $150 for the whole day. You're going to pay for all drinks, food and entertainment (maybe a movie) so it shouldn't be $200 or $300 for the whole day. I know*guys *who pay by the week. $500 to $750 for the week. *

Never take the first chica you see. We are the prize. Take your time. Look around. You are on vacation, what's the rush. Savor the moment, before you know it you'll be back in Bermuda. The aggressive chicas are more likely to be hard core pro's. They just want to get you off as fast as possible and get back to Tequilas so they can make more money. The shy chica standing off to one side is a better bet. A lot of these girls only do this occasionally to make some extra cash.

If a chica walks up to you and asks you to buy her a drink, if you do, she is going to be hard to get rid of. Just say no. Siento, no. or Lo siento, no. Meaning I'm sorry but no. Things start a little later down there. I like to get to Tequilas early, like 11pm. But the place is the most packed at 2am. So you can always wait for the next shift to come in.

I prefer not to pay the chicas up front. I pay when we're finished and they are leaving. But you might get one that refuses any services till they are paid. It's your choice. I suggest not paying first. It has happened that they get paid, you're in bed naked and they say I must use the bathroom, and the next thing you know they are out the door. It's a tough call. If they want paid first, it's a gut call. I've showed them the money, or even put it on the far nightstand, but I can't ever remember paying first, maybe once when I was really drunk. There's a million stories out there of guys getting ripped off because they didn't use good common sense.

---Lastly...This is your maiden voyage. Have fun, but pay attention. Take your time, relax...it's a vacation. Use good common sense. Make some friends. Make some notes for the next trip. But mainly just kick back, go with the flow and enjoy yourself.

---Cash...How much to take? Well, I usually break it down into 3 areas. Apartment rent, entertainment (chicas, food and beverage), and gambling. I set the apartment rent aside, cause we'll pay that as soon as we get there.

As for gambling, I use my Bank of Whatever card at the casino so I can set my limit for the night when I walk in. I lose it, I'm done. If I win, life is good. Works for me. (I especially enjoy hitting the casino at 9pm....winning $250 US by 11pm and leave there heading to Tequila Rocks knowing that the rest of the night...chicas/drinking...is free.

Of course, doesn't always work that way!) So that just leaves entertainment. If you take $1700/$1800 to use for entertainment you should be fine. You should go home with money left over. Let's say you go totally freakin' bonkers. You hit Tequilas 6 nights straight and spend $200 per night...chica toda la noche (girl for all night),and some drinks, and you go to Relax y Vida (a Turkish bath) 5 times during the week at $45 per visit. That adds up to $1200 plus $225 or $1455. You still have $250 to $350 for food and taxis, etc. for the week. A taxi ride is gonna be $2 or $3 and food is cheap. I've spent $1800 in a week....hell, I've spent $2300 in a week.... for entertainment, but I got laid 23 times (including some 2girlsatonce sessions). I just don't think that'll happen on your maiden voyage. I could be wrong.

---Relax y Vida...a Turkish bath. There are many Turkish baths in Lima. I've only been to this one....many,many times. It is unique, according to mi amigo Lima Busy and others...and my personal opinion. . We will definately go there. It is not fancy. It is not marble and tile. It is not roomy. It is not upscale. What it is....is a massage, an apricot scrub in the sauna and and a soak in the hot tub. Again, it ain't fancy. The massage table is too small....how Larry fits on one is a mystery. I think the sauna is ok...especially in the VIP room...but they're small...and the hot tub might just be a metal tub with a water jet on the side. It's supposed to be just one hour. But usually runs a little longer. The charm of the place are the chicas. There may only be 3 to 6 girls there when we get there. I think they only have 6 rooms plus the VIP room. Last time they were doing some work on the rooms and only had 4 available, plus VIP. The girls aren't going to be 10's. But, from my experience you can pick one blindfolded and you'll be fine. Anyway, we'll walk in, give all our valuables (cell, money, keys, watch, etc.) to the chica at the front desk who will tie it up in a sack for protection. They use their elbows, knees, breasts, etc. and it always relaxs me and gets me in the proper frame of mind. Keep in mind, this place is not full service. The girls are not supposed to provide sex...only a blowjob or handjob. But, as always, your experience may vary. Once the massage and heavy breathing-in-the-ear is over, they'll flip you on your back and go to using their mouths and/or hands. The average tip is $40 sols...if you were impressed, you could give a $50 sols tip. So, all said and done, it cost you about $120, $130 sols. Exchange rate is about 3 to 1...you do the math. Now, the above is the normal experience if 1 or 2 guys go there.

If we all go at the same time we'll have to use the VIP and/or make a reservation the day before*so some of us won't have to sit there and wait for a chica to come available. And the VIP room is where everyone is together. So when Bush, Pauly Paul and I went to the VIP, *we all ended up in the sauna together and the hot tub together. Ya, all 6 of us. So the upside is seeing 3 girls naked and the downside is*when I was in the*hot tub saying, who's hand is THAT? Pauly Paul???!!!!!!

---Forms...It's a little thing, a minor detail*but....fill those fuckin' forms out ahead of time, at home. You know, the customs and immigration forms. Ya already got'em. A little back ground is needed to complete this sad tale. Me and my wingman were making our 5th trip to Lima that year and our countless trips to Las Cucardas. We were becoming very friendly with some of the girls. trips to the TR dico and that kind of thing. One girl that I would sit on the sofas in LC with and drink beer was Lisa .A 7 in face and a 6 in body. After doing her on 2 different times this one night in the room she was like a wild women. When I picked up the money all the Soles were there but the 5 one hundred dollar bills were gone. Good thing the police were laughing at him, otherwise he would have got his ass beat. In fact, I saw someone get his ass beat by the cops not 60 feet from where this occured.

The end result can be guessed, he was robbed that night.

I tried to get him to go home but he guffawed at me. So I did the only reasonable thing, I took pics.

OK. Most of the photos you see on the different web pages are fakes or heavily photoshopped. Additionaly, most are placed not by independent girls, but by services. Therefore if you call, you will be given an address where you will find a couple or a few girls of differing quality. As is usual in these places you will probably not get anything like a GFE and the knock on the door will come 10 minutes before your time is up.

Another good source for these places (especially the cheap ones) is the newspaper "el trome". The forum member Artisttyp, like Nibu before him, is a frequent visitor to these alternatives and reading back on some of his posts will probably answer your questions.

I used to go to these places but my mongering habits have changed. That said, in Bs. As. I often visit these "casas de cita" where the quality and service greatly differ from that generally found in Lima.

I'm not crazy about my name being used in the same sentence as Nibu but yes we seem to have crossed paths(in lima) unfortunately.

As david mentioned these places are hit and miss. If you don't like average latin women that a peruvian taxi driver would bang then it may not be your thing. I happen to get off on it.

My suggestion would be to learn the public transportation and get to the trocadero and las cucardas for less than a dollar RT. You can spend at least a week doing that and you will get tons of choices on a daily basis.
