Was at Peacock two months ago and two cops blitzed in as I was paying the bill. They said nothing as the passed the counter and headed straight towards the massage rooms downstairs. Spoke with the manager and she said these were nothing to worry about. They are just the local cops just doing their mail call to show activity. Many are still opened, you just don't know about it. Standard drill is they take one customer at a time. When a customer goes in, they close the shades, lock the doors, turn off the lights so the establishment appears dead. When the customer leaves, lights go back on and the ladies are sitting in the open again.

Also now some have secret rooms that are blocked behind a fridge or are in some other way hidden. Usually there is a false room which contains a massage area to distract from the fact that there might be a hidden room in the back.

You should be able to get any philippine girl for 700RMB LT. I usually offer 500 which is normally enough and I will go as high as 700.

I've have Vietnam girl in Shanghai for 500, but one would not go for less than 1000LT. Leave her be. Chinese girls can go for 300 to more than 1000 which I would not pay.

There are lots of girls, business is slow. PI girls are flooding to Shanghai because they can get 30 day visas and can extend them. They only get 14 days now in Hong Kong.

Don't pay more than market price. If they ask for too much, find someone else.

SH has literally hundreds of these places, maybe more, nobody is really interested in closing them, if possible at all. But currently you have at national and local level interest to slow things down.

BOHICA ("bend over here is comes again"), just sit it out. And yes people got caught and deported, I guess they care not much where. We just warn, everybody can judge himself what risk he takes.

Hangzhong Road is quite far outside, behind Hongqiao Airport. Take Wuzhong Road, pass the Outer Ring, go for another 3 kilometers on Wuzhong Road, and you will eventually find it.

It was known as "the Village" or similar before, but this has been a couple of years ago. Back then, it was more or less an inofficial Red Light District, but this is gone and done.

I, however, do believe, there is still quite a scene "behind the curtain", as Ocean25 described. However, pretty much "ma fan" to get there.
