Why would you guys want to cure Diarhea anyways? It's not too big of a deal IMO.. just do your business and go on with your daily chores.. Sometimes it just happens for no rhyme or reason, like they say not all turds are created equal!

While I was trying to recover from my illness, I talked with one lady on S-6 who wanted to go LT with me, but I told her I had no energy / power. She said she would go with me for 500 Baht. I still didn't take her up on that. I never paid over 1000 B LT, but I did talk to some who wanted 1500 - 2000 for LT. I just smiled and moved on. One on Beach Road said 700 LT, but I wasn't seriously looking at that time. In March I had one lady from Beach Road for 700, but in the morning when I was getting her money, I noticed I didn't have change, so I happily paid her 1000 B. She was the best I had in bed up to that point. Her name is Nit.
In Bangkok early afternoon I had a lady on S-4 try to get me to take her ST. She got desperate and told me I could have her for 20 Baht. I still passed her up.
Let's put this diarrhea thing to bed. I am glad I went to the doctor and I know there were other options, but at that point I needed to do something fast. I don't know what caused it, but had to be something I ate, but can't say for sure. I won't say where I ate, I would hate to accuse some place and it not be them. However, that is why I ate at Central Festival after that. I am not saying it couldn't happen there, but may be less likely. It sure was good food.
The above always works for me but again am no doctor and try to avoid medication unless really desperate (eg amoebic dysentry that I have had twice in my travels!)
If it is dysentery, you need medication. If you get some kind of chronic dysentery you need to see your doctor to bring you in order. This will make you weak but not will be pack you in dead.
Personally I would not take these as it keeps the bug inside longer and the bug has to finally get out of your system.
And if it is a Diarrhea, be care full about this. So far I know there are no complete medicine to cure you out. It might be as danger as it will be. The continuous passing out of waters from your body it might be pull you down to your grave. Now a days peoples are not dieing in this case. Why? They just recharging their body with water they are loosing in every mins. Continuously taking Saline water (available in any med store) or coconut water (follow LBM) will bring you on your feet.
Ok, I follow your reasoning now. When you posted,"A license from any country will do even if it is not endorsed for motorcycles," I thought you had some info about thai law.
An international Driver's License has two important components. First, it is a negotiated treaty documents honored by the scores of listed countries in the license. It basically says, our country will respect your licenses if you respect ours. Second, it requires a verification authority (In the USA, it is AAA and only AAA). The AAA has the means to verify that the source license is a valid one (not a forgery) which the 'foreign' policeman would have no way of doing (he wouldn't know Alaska from his Ass).
Although your experience is very handy when dealing with Thai police, you are wrong on the technical law.
I beg to differ. The International Dirving Licence is "merely" a transalation (the book consists of many pages, one each for a series of languages) of the original one, endorsed by a public authority (the one in charge of driving licence in each country) It carries the number of the original national licence, your photo and it is validi between 12 and 18 months, depending on the International Convention (there are 2 ruling this subject) applying in the visiting country (I. E. USA will not accept International Driving Licences valid for more than 12 months, whilst other countries, applying the other Convention will accept a later expiry date). Of course to release the IDL, your authorities require a photocopy of your own driving licence and probably will check in the system you have that one.
I started this topic and wanted to add a few things:
1) I rent motorbikes every year and have never been stopped once. This year there were checkpoints set up in Pattaya and Jomtien every day. One checkpoint was set up at the Pattaya Police Station. They kept your keys while you went in and paid the fine at the station. No bribes took place here because it was out in the open. Pattaya also set up checkpoints on 2nd Road. This was a visible effort to check for International licenses. This is not normal behavior for Pattaya Police. The lady collecting fines told me I needed a Thai or International license but the officers on the street accepted my California license. Jomtien didn't accept the California license.
2) The Motorbike rental agreement clearly states in both Thai and English that to drive the bike you must carry either a Thai or International Driver License. Of course I didn't read agreement until after I was stopped. This leads me to believe I was not taken and that the law requires either a Thai or International license.

The funny thing is how many curbside lawyers try to argue with these guys. I saw a US dude ask the cop," What was your probable cause to stop me"? I had to laugh. The Thai cops do what they want, when they want. Never be stupid to give them a hard time.

You do see some Thai's pulled over but they know that it's the tourists that won't have the IDL / IDP or Thai License.
The more you argue the more you will suffer, just pay up the 100 Baht and be done with it, it's a fact of life. Alternavitely use a Baht bus or walk.

I was drinking whiskey on the street the other night, LATE and a motorcycle cop in full uniform with gun and all would stop in every so often.
They do what they want, when and where.
Probably the easiest thing to do/say, The truth. Just say I don't have one, or produce your state/country issued license and pay the fine, even if it's 200B whats 6 USD? or 4 Euro?
Talk shit and get a beat down, that's a bad day!
Pay a fine and roll.

He came into town wearing a Tin can hat like John Wayne saying there is a " new sheriff in town " In spite of all the talk about Internationals drivers licenses and how valid they are in my opinion they just happen to have a cash cow drop into their lap by accident. Very few tourist actually come with the intent of driving here particularly a motorbike so the % having a International Driver License is very slim. Allover is beating himself up for not reading the fine print and yes everyone should but actually how many do. If having one is so important one would assume it should be cleared by the rental establishment to make sure you have one by visually asking you to show it before the bike is release. And we all know that isn't what is happening because they would all be out of business if they actually follow the law! Aside from the license how many of you actually know that you don't actually have insurance for the bike if it is stolen?
You will see many Thais pull over but from my experience very few actually have a Thai driver license. They are pull over for no helmet and through inspection for a Thai they are checking for immigration status and current motorbike registration to verify ownership. For Thais they are more concern about other things aside from the license and although they are fine they pay less that what a Farang would pay. Many don't even have car driver license or insurance and if stop they pay normally 200 baht and off they go! Many barely can afford the gas to run a bike, or replace a light bulb on the bike so paying a fee and going through the process when they aren't even residence in Chon Buri.
If you come and rent. Expect to be stopped put it in your budget as part of the expense of mongering here but don't beat yourself up thinking it is us that is the problem? Whether you are walking or riding you are still a ATM.

After all this discussion about driving license I though I would add an interim off topic report on sex in Pattaya.
Arrived yesterday and checked into my hotel.
After an oil an oil massage (no extras) I went to a small beer bar on the north end of second road.
It was still pretty empty at around 8 pm so I had a few beer and chatted wirh one of the girls.
They had two very young dancers there, cute little spinners! I invited one over for a drink. Not too much english knowledge but we got along fine.
After that I took the baht bus over to walking street. On the way I noticed that the selection on beach road was not really bad. There were some real lookers standing around. If BR freelancers are your thing you should be able to find something decent. Walking street was pretty crowded at around 11 pm but seemed to me like there were more tourists than mongerers. I walked into Baccara and ordered a beer. They just had a little lesbian show going on with naked girls. One pair was actually pretty hot.
Then the normal line up of dancers came on and there were some real stunners among them! Probably the best line up I have seen in a long time. Take itmwith a grain of salt as I am in no way a professional seasoned mogerer.
After a beer or two I left and headed to Secrets since I had some very nice experiences there last year. Unfortunately it was pretty empty and there were no girls that caught my attention.
So I headed to Angelwitch where again last time the shows were great, it was packed, the girls were amazing and the atmosphere was one big party. But what a big disappointment this time: allmost no customers, the shows not very entertaining and the girls were also a bit disappointing.
I left after a beer and headed back to the beer bar where I started the evening to see if the young spinner was still there. The bar was again pretty empty with just a few punters around. I called the sweetie over, ordered her a drink and closed the deal for the night. She offered 1000 ST and 2000 LT. As the bar was closing I accepted and off we went to my hotel close by.
We took a shower (seperate) and had a really nice session with a long BBBJ. She seemed a bit inexperienced or not used to it as it caused her some slight pain in the neck which I tried to comfort with a bit of massage. But she really did not give up to please me. True spirit of a prospective professional. The following sex was nice although no PSE but I was very satisfied.
As I was pretty tired at around 4:30 I sent her home with 1500. Would take her again any time and maybe I will.
Woke up very late today and tried out dream teen massage. It was a mixed experience for me. Had two girls for 1. 5 hours. The 4 handed massage was very nice and then FS was offered for 1500 each. Allthough it seemed a bit pricey I accepted since the mood was good. Unfortunately I did not hold for too long. Oil body to body plus simultanious BJ with two tight asses in my hands was just too much so I finished early. The girls were nice about it and so I was able to negotiate them down to 1000. After all we had a deal and it was my bad performance that lead to a short cut.
After finishing this report I will head back to walking street again and check out some more Gogos. There is a bit of lightning going on, so I hope it stays dry.

I may have to qualify what I wrote before regarding the age of the young girl before I cause a shitstorm. She is 20 and that is very young for me. I would never go below the legal age. And she is lying in my bed sleeping as I type this. What a true angel.
More after we woke up.
I don't hang out is bars. Bars are for losers. I strolled along Beach Road and a whole bunch of gals I had before wanted to cum with me gladly. For the unknowing at what may seem 7-ties prices, but they are really 2012 numbers. Learn to speak some Thai, be nice, make them happy too and enjoy like me. I didn't like Pattaya much over the past 6 or 7 years, but now. DAMN!
F!
Ahh, But you know as well as I do Freeler that the BEST times to stroll Beach Road is between 2-3AM. Why do people think the pickings are slim around that time, I wouldn't know. But more for me.

Last tripI pulled a "Nit" out of a Soi 6 bar. Big jugs, fun, and a great lay. We got a little drunk before going back to the room. Did this gal have big jugs?

Seen this many times. Japanese guys think of young woman as beautiful flowers, essentially a decoration, to the table or for the night.
Is this really happening now in Pattaya now or is it a myth?
