Hello all,

Let me start off by saying I used to be pretty into the scene from 2013-2016. I've been to all different types of establishments, including lip cafes, gunma, hyugetel, officetel, private escorts, and anmas. I'm heading back in a few months and I'd like to know what to expect from those of you in the know.

Lip Cafes. I believe it was a standard 20-30 minute service and it was 40 k. Nothing fancy and only topless but it got the job done in a pinch.

Gunma. Depending on the length and the amount of shots the price can vary. But I remember paying around 120 k-150 k for 2 shots and an hour massage.

Hyugtel. It was a Korean provider and it was like 80 k for 30 minutes and around 120 k for an hour. I believe it was limited to 1 shot.

Officetel. Base rate was like 140 or 150 k and went up to +30 k based on the looks of the provider.

Private escorts. I only tried Sarah miehn when she was basically the queen of upscale English speaking escorts. I remember it being around 300 k. I thought that was ridiculous at the time and now I see prices for Lily or Jeni. Crazy.

Anma. Anywhere from 180 k during the day to 230 k at night. I remember doing relays at eve and your standard 2 shot at fish. My favorite of all time was soo anbo but I think they're closed now. I got into all this before the club scene and other stuff emerged so I'm definitely interested in giving it a go.

So have the prices changed much in the last 3-4 years I've been there?

I monger weekly in the San Francisco Bay Area. Been doing so for the last 20 years. I hoping for some help from my fellow mongers. I am in the Yeong-dong area of Seoul and wondered if any of you knew of any massage or officetels in the area? Its raining cats and dogs right now so I am hoping for something in my area. Second, with a short amount of time and inability to use Korean, your best bets are Itaewon's Hooker Hill or one of the RLD. At Hooker Hill you will have an easier time as the ladies there speak some English. But the quality isn't as high as it used to be and you have a higher chance of getting ripped off.

As for RLD, I would recommend trying Yeongdeungpo or Cheon-ho.

It's been a few months since I've been there, but last time I went, there were very few places open and the remaining places are closing due to government shutting the place down. I haven't been to Yeongdeungpo so I cannot say how that place is doing.
