If you're just looking for short time or long time and are not kuripot, then, yeah you can find takers on DIA. The site rules however and the attitude of the admins there prohibit frank discussion of P4P, so I would guess you would lose your account frankly discussing it. Unlike many destinations in S. E. Asia (Pattaya comes to mind), it's much more friendly and accommodating here than other places and the people TRY to speak English. They are humble polite usually and peaceful.

I have had very few Filipinos get angry at me and that's saying something and sometimes I deserved it. I have had NO approaching violent confrontations with them except for an occasional clearly scamming Filipina in contrast to poriners here who I have almost come to blows with on several occasions.

They are mostly honest, at least when it comes to cut and dried money transactions (unlike Vietnam I have read).

Foreigners keep returning even though they travel all over the globe. This puzzled me at first as it's a one horse town with nothing special and poor mongering opportunities. These are the reasons. It truly is the land of gentle people, but as the current Corona hysteria shows they can be gentle and autocratic at the same time. And also they are not so gentle when you are competing against them for money, so a lot of this gentleness is a facade.

Sometimes they are on the cp trying to feel out the best deal but often it's just they are just undecided or they are in circumstances that might make it questionable for them to arrive. We kept chatting and soon after that she started to complain of feeling sick. At first it thought that it would be followed by a plea for money to see the doctor, but she never asked for any help, even with the transportation to my place in the first place. I tried talking her into going to the doctor but she refused saying it was not that bad.

Her symptoms were classic coronovirus, fever, body ache and dry rasping cough. It has now been 3 days since she has responded or even opened my WhatsApp messages. I have sent her regular SMS messages and put 100 p on her phone just in case she ran out of load. I tried talking her into going to the doctor, but she refused saying it was not that bad. She also has not been on FC since we started chatting. Unless I hear from her, I am assuming the worst. She is healthy, nonsmoker and young so her odds if it is the virus are pretty good but not 100%.

My theory is that there is no need to be a prick but there is no no need to be a soft touch either.

I can understand a girl being 30 minutes late in the chaos that is Manila or Cebu traffic but guys have complained about waiting in a Starbucks for hours for a no show.
