First of all I want to adress following comments to Freebies report. I did not find it boring at all as I am more like you in my pickings. It seems though as a lot of fellow ISG'ers don't want to go through the, according to them, hazzles it is to pick up / meet girls from datingsites / freelanceplaces (for freelanceplaces they use the you can not trust them excuse). But what is realy better we are different in our mongerings. In SEA in general everything can be had and coming here it sure makes me feels I am a child in a candystore.

If you want your bag to be easily distinguishable then use a colored ribbon or a strip of tape on a corner or something that is not part of your identity.

I always cringe when I see filipinos (usually) with their name, address and phone number written in large black letters across the sides of their pasalubong bags and boxes. It gives a potential scammer a lot of information about a person so that if he / she is a professional con-artist they can carry off their approach with a lot of credibility.

Of course it can be helpful too. One trip I was standing next to a very attractive woman at the baggage carousel and she had her name prominently visible on her backpack and I casually said "Hi. Is your name Ann-Marie?" and she was surprised, and gave the big smile with the "Hi. Yes - I'm Ann-Marie" and put out the hand for shaking. "Have we met before? How do you know my name?"
If I had been a scammer I could have gone to work but instead I just pointed to her name displayed on her bag and she giggled (as they do) and said "Oh yes of course hahaha". TAxis have certains provision from bring customersw here and there.
