I am hoping under 3 months if we all pitch in to do our part.
Month or 2 there will be some normalcy. It will be way sooner then we think, if you have money it will be a paradise. Airfare and lodging will be way cheaper. Maybe even more flexible. Airlines will be forced to change some of there insane policies, at least I hope.

If we stay locked down for 3 months, what follows will be a years long era of economic dression. I don't understand why so few people grasp this.

Time to get back work, isolate the areas were there are high infection rates, the rest of us need to get back to work ASAP. Mexico will never survive a long shutdown, they will go back sooner then later.
I am hoping under 3 months if we all pitch in to do our part.
3 months sounds good. Many countries are quickly working on a vaccine or a cure for the corona virus because economic losses for the global economy are colossal. I remember living in the San Francisco bay area and total panic when the AIDS epidemic broke out. Everyone was wearing face masks on the bus and on the street. The number of dying weekly was enormous. I worked for a delivery company and many of my clients died, it was shocking for me and it changed me a lot.
China is way ahead. NY is being put to test now and others will follow.

Even this last 2 weeks had done so much damage that I can't predict how long it will reverberate through time and our economy.
I don't want to see anyone sick and I don't want to see anyone out of work. I'm living my life to enjoy all of the amazing things we have been lucky enough to have access to. A time like this is a very stark reminder of how good I have had it and it hurts to imagine how bad it could get for a lot of people all over the world.
Good luck to you, man. And good luck to the Chikas. I hope this will blow over so we can all go on and enjoy the prosperity that we knew such a short time ago.
HK management is telling chicas and meseros they will be closed 1 week. The government, however, is expecting to keep it closed for 1 month.
One other thing I wanted to mention, and I would find it comical, if not so sad. In any case, I'm not sure who the liar is. I stopped in for a couple beers last week. I was not interested in going arriba, though of course, chicas tried. One girl, whose name escapes me, told me how safe HK is. She said that HK gave all of the chicas and meseros injections and they were all safe from the virus. Now, I have heard differing claims. Some chicas I trust told me that no injections were ever offered. Though I did hear from one other chica injections were offered. In any case, it's just sad. Either these chicas are making this up to make some fool believe it or worse, HK Management is shooting these girls up with saline and telling them they are safe. Sad.
You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out who's lying. Obviously HK never offered any kind of injection. No one could be stupid enough to believe that HK has some sort of secret biotech lab staffed with Nobel laureates that synthesized a coronavirus vaccine months or even years ahead of the rest of the world's scientists. The putas that are claiming that they have been immunized are clearly lying to attract mongers who are skittish about contracting the virus from putas.

And, of course I never thought HK management has the secret vaccine we all crave. But I do not discount the possibility HK could hire someone to inject the uneducated people with saline and they believe they are then immune. There is a definite difference between the US and Mexico when it comes to the understanding of, and fear of, this virus. I only give it credence because I know this wouldn't be the first scam management has pulled on its employees. They regularly scam the girls with a visa scam.
Dcrist,
I don't think HK management is stupid enough to inject the girls and lie to them about a deadly infection. When the girls get sick, they will squeal to Federal policia. That will bring big troubles.
You should know that most HK girls would lie and say anything to get a deal and do anything in bed. There are exceptions, but you should not count on bar girls' honesty.

What was that all about?
Bit the bullet and hooked back up with an HK girls I meet pre Corona. She said she was going back home until HK reopens. She said they were told they would be closed for at least two weeks. Plenty street girls out still most are working day shifts because the streets are literally really dark due to bar closure. Was really eerie no Banda music in streets hotel was so quiet you could hear a mouse fart. Anyhow, got a smoking deal on a TLN didn't ask her to stay either. Had breakfast at Azul with her an checked out around 1245 or so. Cruised through border in about 15 minutes. HK girls were off duty and in street clothes but still seeing their regulars in hotels. Seems this would be ideal for safety reasons since they are maybe seeing only 2-3 guys instead of the usual 5-6 and they have a good level of trust already established. On a side note we tried to get service at the side bar in the hotel lobby. Apparently there is a secluded lounge with double doors near the elevators I am assuming that is where the room service liquor comes out of. They said they can only send drinks to the room. I was able to sleep like a baby between sessions because the hotel was so quite. Anybody that has regulars I suggest you setup a a date. You can Def get a basement bargain TLN before the girls pack it in this coming week.
There was a visa scam? What was that all about?
It's ongoing. Management brings in some "immigration experts" to help the chicas get papers into the US. The chicas end up paying a lot of money for help they never receive. Thousands of dollars. Typically, they pay $800 up front. Management brings in these experts once a month and they sign up new chicas every month. Sad. But that's what makes me wonder if management would try to pull an injection scam to keep the chicas in the bar during a pandemic.
To Captain, I agree. It was likely a lie by the girl. But I'm not certain of it. I might be too suspicious and should just take it at face value. But I also know that upper management and the family that owns it would stop at nothing.
Doctors say vaccine is year or two away, the flu vaccine doesn't work well cause virus change anyway, don't hold your breath for a cure as they've poured billions and 70 years into cures for cancer that were never found. I think people will just have to learn to live with this disease or die with it. I don't. Believe China got rid of it. The flue never goes away. Summer doesn't kill it, I'm in 90 degree weather people are getting it. Probably will change everything forever really, much less restaurants, barsstarbucks will probably never have seating again, alot girls in hk, will not do GFE, oh wait nevermind.
Probably will change everything forever really
I agree. This is way bigger than 9/11 and you saw what that did. We are experiencing a historic event. The fallout is / will be HUGE.
Who knows what it will do to the mongering scene.
2020 has been devastating for me so far but at least I am alive to experience it. I consider myself lucky.
I wish everyone on ISG the same. EVERYONE.
