Music to drown out the sound of a jet plane and comparisons.
I don't recall music ever getting very loud at Sharks. Maybe I just don't pay attention.
Wow BB. If you'd been there this Saturday and didn't think it was loud you have serious hearing problems!
I have literally never heard music played that loud other than at live gigs. It was truly awful. Unlike some I didn't mind the song selections so much. But it was just horrible to have it SO loud. I mentioned it at the front desk but got a look as if I'd gone mad! I said I couldn't hear what the girls at the bar were saying to me, to which jokingly the receptionist said "you come here to fuck girls not talk to them! I did laugh and say that's true. But the music did not get turned down. In fact between midnight and 1 am it started to get turned up and was so loud I just wanted to leave (combined with the constantly long wait for rooms). I really like the club layout but for me, on this trip, I ranked it bottom of my three clubs attended given all things taken into consideration. In order of importance for me I rate a club depending on:
1. Line up.
2. Availability of good rooms.
3. Wellness facilities (sauna / massage / gym at Artemis - are there any other FKKs with a gym?).
4. Smoke free zones (the cancer inducing main lounge at LR means I won't revisit the club).
5. General quantities of girls / men (ratio) (far too many men in Sharks for me this Saturday).
I could have listed level of service but I think that is down to the girls and not the club. Interesting debate on the Palace thread tonight from experienced members on this issue. General consensus is that 30 min sessions at Palace will not be good. Not my experience but I very infrequently have been there so maybe I've been lucky. It's possible to get great service in a poor club and vice versa. My best night in 2016 was in Sauna Club Romer outside Dresden. Tiny club and only had 10 girls but the two I sessioned with were truly outstanding in looks and service and would be in rooms all day at any of the Hessen / NRW clubs.
Other consideration is location. I don't drive when in Germany as I like a drink in the clubs. Nothing to excess but a few beers so that rules out driving. Also, if, like me you are a tourist and come from a country which has no equivalent of FKKs (not many places do) it's not worth thinking too much about location / cost etc. I've taken taxis all weekend from an airport hotel to Sharks / Mainhattan and Palace. Not cheap and I could have got trains but most taxi drivers will do deals and it is just so much quicker than having to get trains etc.
I'll finish this post where it started. On the noise in Sharks. I didn't list it in my considerations list and it certainly wouldn't stop me going there again but the room waits probably mean I wouldn't do Sharks on a Saturday again.
Bath robe belts are useful
2. Robe or towel? (See, I just gave myself away as a rookie).
One of the reasons I take a robe when in the clubs is that I can use the belt from the robe to tie up hands of the girl during sex. Adds a bit of a kink to the session. No girl has asked for extra for this service.
