On the other hand the more I look at the web pages of the GdP, and having experimented also a few in SP (see a report of a few weeks ago) I have to say that the 150/200 GdP have nothing less than some Cafè Foto girls (might even be that some double act as "individual GdP" at popular rates daytime and then go for the high market as a CF girl, automatically entitle to demand for more.

Something liek this happens in Singapore: the same girl has two different prices. One for the her OT bar's 'resdiential' and another (higher) one for the nearby Brix (inside Hyatt).

A few girls confirmed this to me.

850 now because cafe photo use to include 4 drinks with the entrance fee. The 500 price has always been the case if your a gringo. When I went there I just negotiate for more time and services rather than haggle with them over 50-100R.

Here in Pao now, same girls that use to work in sampa now work here also and go for 200R in POA. But its all relative because the money I'm saving is the money I had to spend for the connecting flight in Samap to here. So in all I could have just stayed in Sampa for the same amount I'm spending here. Go figure LOL

The only varible there that I could control was the $R500. Me and my buddy were doing all the drinking (He treated me to restarant called lellis trattoria and the bill was about $R1000 reis so a couple of drinks on me was in order.)

And BELIEVE you me I am not inflating any pricing in SP especially not in Cafe FOTO rsrsrsrrs.

Rumours say that Bahamas might reopen January. If this is the truth the SP situation is pretty similar in terms of the high end boate scene as when I started travelling to SP ten years ago:
- Cafe Photo (still around but relocated to a better place).
- Bahamas (reopened).
- W (changed name to W Garden but still same owner and location).
- Bomboa (still the same).
- Cafe Millenium (renovated and reopened with new name Scandallo Club).
- Kilt Shows (new owners but same location).

I can't wait to go back in March after a years absence.

Does anyone know the current situation of:
- Cafe Gauguin (Brooklin)
- Bon Vivant (Jardim Paulista. Formerly Donna Cafe)
- Fazendinha (Campinas)

The only thing missing now is Gigi back or a replacement.

The only information circulating so far on the net is a note on the GP Guia (written December 28th). In that note the poster (registered since 2004) said that he called the joint last Tuesday and there was somebody who answered the phone (after a while I should specify). He told that poster that they are planning to reopen later this month. There is no other information available.

That poster was curious because he noticed that the web site was still active after all those years. Does it really mean a thing? I dunno.

On the other hand, it's strange that one of their former star working there (Jéssica Monteiro aka Mariana Aguiar. A former playmate who was asking R$2, 000 for a session) is planning to receive johns in her new flat (January 20th). (I'm sure she would have known if they are planning to reopen the venue.) Where is the truth?

GK[/QUOTE]I think they have all intentions of reopening since the owner has a huge investment in the place and Bahamas was world famous it was a p4p institution and the talent you found there was comparable to no other place.

Let's hope it does reopen and make the sao paulo scene even more interesting.

Well, let's cross our fingers then. Over the years Seu Maroni has made many ennemies among the politicians in SP. I hope, however, that they will let him reopened the Bahamas.
