I got pinged over the weekend by a hot looking gal on FH who says she’s looking for a boyfriend. Her profile says she lives in my hometown here in U.S. I give her my phone number and she says she’s dying to meet me. Then she asks if I’d be willing to first attend a timeshare presentation here in town just so she can make a little money for having me attend. She said after that we can go out to dinner and then to my house for fun. I say fine, let’s meet in the parking lot prior to me going into the presentation. She says she can’t do that but will meet me as soon as I’m done with the presentation. I won’t be there but I wonder how many other swinging cocks are falling for this and will be in the parking lot wondering where this beauty is. I gotta hand it to her, this is original.

Ok I mentioned filipina, because I can overlook girls from other countries because often their very very limited english skills. In PI most people can speak english and write it fairly well. While they may not be fluent, its not like broken english where you can't even make heads or tails of it like girls from thailand, china and vietnam. These ladies here are looking for true love, but how come they put about zero effort into their ads. I' not talking about having to write a novel here, but most of these girls often write about one sentence and sometimes just a few words down of what they are looking for or what they are about. I just don't get that, wouldn't you want to weed out non potentials, and get as much interest as possible. I often don't even bother reading the ad because its just a one liner which is like standard intro for dia girls. I just look at the pic and says ok she cute cut and paste and send.

Ok so i've been chatting with this sweet honey who comes from a very fine home mom was a broker etc.. so they are educated has money etc... she wants me to call her up on cell phone. I personally don't waste my time calling dia girls on phone i figure i'm going to do that like a week before i go to PI no sense wasting money right. So anyways where do you guys think is the best place to get phone cards, because i think this girl has potential to be long term steady so I figure i give her a ring way before my trip in january.

I have been using Tipid Pinoy phone card for almost 9 months now. Its reliable. You can pick up this (and many other) card at any Asian grocery store. If you ask they will even give you a discount of 50 cents. $5 card costs $4.50.

I noticed the ones that put too much b.s. in their profiles tend to be ladyboys.
If I see a long description and the ysay they are over 5'4, I assume they are a boy.
That is only for DIA. On CB I do not see that trend.

Also, check the "recent online"section on DAI after 10 pm P.I. time vs. the afternoon time. So many ladyboys or scammers on later using fake pictures and such. It is rare to find a good girl online at the cafe after 10:00pm

Their photo's offer the biggest clue. If they are professional looking and appear posed (or offer a revealing glimpse of cleavage, or more), watch out. These are often the pro scammers, dangling a worm to catch big fish. Even if they are genuine, the actual girl often look much different (worse) in the flesh. I prefer those profiles that have simple, usually webcam, often blurry photo's like that you would expect a normal, economically challenged Pinay to post.

Your point about late online presence is well made as you would expect a good, clean living, Filipina to be home and tucked up in bed after 10 ;). Unfortunately you don't find too many of that ilk posting on DIA. GH

As much as it pains me, i have to agree with Mr G. - in general.

There are exceptions and i encourage you to explore those possibilites - - you never know.

Via Internet, I met an older (30+) woman, with nice pics, who turned out to be a very successful woman. Saved a few nights on hotel fee staying at her place, lusting after the very hot maid, her driver at my service - - bruises on the back of my thighs thanks to her exuberance. I joined the date in Asia website about two months ago, right before my first trip to the Philippines. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed. I had dabbled a little bit with two websites that cater to Latin America and I had had some good experiences with them. But it was nothing like date in Asia. Whereas on amigos.com or cypercupido I have to be careful to compose reasonably well-thought-out messages in order to get some responses, on dates in Asia it made virtually no difference. no matter what I wrote, I got lots of responses, many of them from really pretty girls.

I asked for their phone numbers I went to the Philippines with a whole bunch of telephone numbers. As you may have guessed, I didn't end up calling any of them I met so many girls so quickly that there just wasn't time there wasn't really any reason.

Since I came back a couple weeks ago, I've been corresponding with women from the website just to keep busy. I don't really care if I ever meet them while I'm in the United States give you something to do to keep me thinking about the Philippines. It's completely free and it doesn't take much effort.

one problem I noticed is that after two or three exchanges, the conversation falls apart. They all want chat on Yahoo but when you actually chat with them they have virtually nothing interesting to say. There are various solutions to this, in particular insisting they have to have a WebCam if they want to chat. If they are as hot as they seem to be in their pictures, then it won't matter if I have anything to say.

They're located all over the country but mostly in three or four specific locations. I find this a little bit strange. So many of them are from Cebu, Davoa, and two or three other places. Relatively very few from Manila and almost none from tons of different cities and towns.

I'll try to have some interesting exchanges so that I can report to you about them. I chatted with one a couple of days ago and she is 20 years old and looking for a husband, or least that's what she says. it would certainly be interesting to correspond with a few hundred lives in several different places and then go visit them.

To reiterate, watch out for the professional looking pen picture, talks money ...blah,blah. Sorry much as I hate to say it and no offence, but you must RTFF. GH

Some are obvious, and others are very　skillfull. There is no easy answer.

I have a profile on DIA that clearly says I am interested in sex. I have the phone numbers of several DIA girls who want to meet me.

In the experience of the experts, when the girls show up, how common is it for them to back out on sex? In most cultures I have been to (and I have never been to the Phillipines), the girls have to have a first date without sex to save face. Will this be true of the DIA girls?

By the way, I have always, before asking for their phone numbers, told them that I want to make love to them. So even if they haven't read my profile (which I think some have not), they know what I am asking.

I like to think I have a good ladyboy-radar, and I would say she isn't one on this one, but it's definately not one of those 100% certainties... but still my two pence is she's not.

If you don't mind spending around $20 for a month, I would sign up for Cherry Blossoms They do a good job of getting rid of scammers. On CB it states on the profile when they

first sighed up, so if they have been there a few months, that is a good sign others have not complained about them. I rarely bother with a girl who signed up in the last day or so, I let the other members screen her and besides that is when you will have the most competition.

Also with CB, you can go to "who viewed me", it keeps a count of how many times a girl has returned to your profile. So if you see a girl hitting your profile more then just once or twice, you know she is into you. Also you know if she looks only once and does not respond, that she is not into you.

They also allow many pictures, so you can see the girl in different scenarios. Some times their first pick a few years old/ lighter, but you see the pics to get a better idea of her looks.
