I fully agree with Saturn51 observation that he loves to stay in paharganj, I think some of members of the mongering community cannot understand why a guy who can afford to pay will stay in backpackers area, well for me I visited delhi way back in 93 and stayed in the Lahori gate area and loved each day of my stay , simply because there was so much life around, well in those days I never used to monger but still I used to have fun watching GB road where upstairs you have brothels and downstairs you have normal business going on , so this is India you just have to sink in to get the feel, Well one thing that I enjoyed was the cabaret dance that used to go on, is it still there ??? would love to hear from old delhi hands on this .

Paharganj way back in 92 was full of farangs and i guess it has improved much in when i visited delhi for a day . did not have time to explore , but i guess I will stay in paharganj next time when I visit , I have heard that foreigners are available so would love to have an update about paharganj.

You know, I get pretty tired of hearing new faces on this board whine about not getting help from the senior members. Guys, there may not be a list of names and phone numbers on the boards, but there are plenty of leads you can follow just by reading the posts and investing some time and money.

If you have a decent head on your shoulders, it'll probably be more time than you think, and less money than you think. That's not such a bad equation.

Several people have said that they've benefited from my posts. I'm glad that I've helped. I try to, as much as I can, but as I've said before, the bulk of my experience is with SWs, and unfortunately, the only way to make use of my 'guidance' in this area, is to get in your car and go.

I think I speak for the majority of seniors here when I say that there aren't any shortcuts guys, and as much as I like being part of the community and sharing my experiences, providing leads and guidance, I'm not in the business of making sure that YOU get laid. I am quite excited about the seedier side of mongering, in Old Delhi. I have seen in the passed, pictures of hookers in doorways of Old Delhi.
