Rio de Janeiro Reports

Plain and simply I've had the opposite experiences you've had since traveling to Rio de Janeiro. Even when things don't go my way (2 bad encounters in 10 years more or less) or so, there is still much accomplished as far as getting what I wish for in my travels to the marvelous city. Every trip I've taken has been an improvement over the previous one. It is all a matter of philosophy. This philosophy has been discussed here on many occasions, but as a reminder, here are my rules, and I've had plenty of help (Copied) more experienced mongers:

1. Have a plan: Before you hit the ground, you must have at least some framework to guide your pursuits. What I do is make sure I overdo my plan, make sure it is impossible to do all the things I am wishing for on a particular trip.

2. Make sure you have a base of operations. Pick the most pleasant place you know and get really comfortable. Your hang out spot. For me it evolved from Lluomos (RIP) , Monte Carlo, now 4 x 4.

3. Cross things out one by one as you get them done. That's self explanatory.

4. Don't be afraid to alter the plan. That just goes with the territory.

Some things that help also are to get at least 2 familiar providers that you are really comfortable with to visit at your place from time to time. It is up to each person to build rapport with some of these beautiful women and see them in more intimate settings (I. E Safado69, I envy your recent inventory, good job!). These encounters ought to be rare but necessary to complete the picture and mood of the trip.

It boils down to doing your homework and building rapport so you can have viable opttions. It isn't easy, but it is sure a lot of fun to try.

Please feel free to dump your money there because it's just my money and I know I won't waste it at the wrong spot anymore anytime soon. I give Brazil and F grade for this trip. It's about about the money and my assessment is based on meeting hot girls while on vacation. Brazil sucks because anal is available on every corner of city in the world. Why fly 7000 miles for an ugly girl to show up at your door?

I learned my lesson already and I will hit Brazil in Nov but I will no longer treat it as a #1 destination for a sexual paradise. For those who are curious, go dump your money. The legend of Brazil is over. Prove me if my judgment is wrong.[/QUOTE]

It has been 3 years since I've been to Rio and last time I took my wife. My wife likes the ladies! We went to L'uoma several times and had an absolute blast! I just read, very sadly, that L'uomo has closed? Is this still the case? If it is, can anyone recommend a few termas that still accept couples? We are currently booked to be in Rio in December, during the Christmas holiday, and certainly planned on going several times and having lots of fun. On the same subject, couples, can anyone recommend other avenues for couples to play in Rio? We enjoyed the terma and especially the rule about both of us having to take a girl back. Being with 3 girls at the same time, including my sexy wife, was incredible. I cannot imagine a trip without playing like this at least 5 or 6 times.

Any help would be appreciated!

I went to 4x4 this past Wednesday for Dia dos Namorados (Valentine's Day). This might be the best day of the year to go to 4x4. On this day, you could have gotten your R$50 entrance fee waived if you sessioned with a girl anytime before midnight, so the promotion was pretty much good all day long. Also, there weren't many guys there but there was still about 85% of the same crew of girls, so the choices were very good and you could take your time all night to find the right girl. I went with a girl from Bahia named Juliana for a one hour session. This was only the 2nd Bahiana I've been with, but man it really seems like these girls really know what they are doing in the sack! It's a small sample, but so far my limited experiences with girls from Bahia have been mind blowing. Maybe I should go to Salvador to try more of these Bahianas!

As previously reported by another poster, the price has gone up R$20 recently so it's now R$260 for 40 minutes and R$280 for 60 minutes if you get the R$50 entrance waived, otherwise it's R$310 and R$330, respectively for 40 minutes and 60 minutes.

Over 100 thousand protesters in Rio de Janeiro yesterday and large numbers of demonstrators in major cities nation wide. It's not just one guy's angle. People are pissed at corruption in this government.

Almost like here in the United States when the poor wasn't making it and couldn't find a job no one really cared BUT when middle class families started to get laid-off and couldn't afford gas prices and losing their homes when they had 3-4 different degrees and student loans to pay and they still couldn't find a job then everyone seem to cared and it was a major problem and many here in the United States protested via the " Tea Party". Also taking a clue from the grass-roots protests of Arab Spring, and the protests in Turkey it is best for her government to take a non-confrontational stance with the protesters. The collective grievances of Brasil's diverse population make it more difficult to negotiate any settlement before damages are out of control.

FIFA might not the vulture capitalist, the IOC is but nonetheless they ask YOU the host country to put on the event and sell it like a chance to put your country on the world map, all are your expense. Who pays for this? The doctor in the public hospitals, the favelas being destroyed for new stadiums and athlete village, etc, etc.

In Ukraine the vendors did not see the benefit though were sold on by the politicians who wanted to host the European Championships. She right, in Brazil they will see little benefit overall and because Europeans and Americans are cutting back traveling to Brazil, their struggles will continue once all the crowds leave.

I love sports but it makes some people do stupid things (violence) , vote against their own interested, be NIMBY's and distracts you from the Banker Occupation.

About three weeks ago, I heard about the increase is bus fare in Sao Paulo that sparked the original small protest, but the crowds grew bigger as the police started to crack down.
