They are here to stay. That's the reality. FIFA and the IOC need to "award" these spectacles to nations that are in the best position to bear the brunt of the load. To me, that should exclude "emerging" and "third world" countries. People get carried away with the euphoria in the beginning, but these protests in Brazil are a harsh and needed snap back to reality. What I hope is that the United States never hosts one of these in my town! Let some other American city "brag" and show the world how great it is (and pay for it later for years to come!).

I went to 4x4 last night at around 9:30 pm. I should have gone earlier but I got carried away working on my laptop. It was my first time there.
