So I've been using craigslist to post messages and get some responses. Sometimes you get trolled. This troll made a mistake. A woman named Jennifer Conrod sent me a message through CL mail relay. When they do that, whatever name they have in their e-mail apparently gets sent to me, as it happens all of the time -- not sure they are aware of it. My ad was pretty innocuous, but obvious as to what I was looking for, to anyone with half a brain. She responded twice, saying, "I'm interested" to one of my ads, then "I'm very interested!" to another. I responded asking if she had a photo or an instagram or something. She sent me back two messages, an hour apart, in the middle of the night. Here's where it gets funny -- her first message was a tiny square accidentally right-clicked and saved from her mail page. It was very small, so hard to read. I will post it here. I am convinced it was an accidental send. It shows her university mail system (St. Thomas University in Canada) and her name, along with a partial message header and response from another guy who looks to be answering her. If you can't read it, the subject is, "I'll go to jail. " And the response from the guy who wrote her was, "Are you happy? That's what you exactly want. " So I received this, and it looked to me like she was a troll who accidentally outed herself. I also go a response from my other message, from the same woman, an hour later. She sent a photo of an Asian girl who I am not sure is actually her, so I won't post it. I FB searched the name and got a hit on a fat blonde white chick from Canada who has an English degree. I highly suspect she's an English teacher who is or was in Korea, and is trolling. A google search revealed a bit more, albeit confusing. I got another picture of the same girl as in the Asian photo this Jennifer sent to me, attached to an anti-Trump petition. Haha. Facebook does not have this Asian girl, but shows the fat white English Teacher chick. So I think she may be parading around as a fake Asian (possibly) and trolling people, but actually is a fat white English teacher from Canada.

Anyway, you might want to be careful with some of these CL responses. I've also learned not to respond with what I really want, right away. I try to wait a day and gather several responses. Some people are just trolling and want to know what you want, then will report you and get your ad removed. Waiting longer allows it to stay up longer.

I've been to 5 in the last week and they are either out of business or don't have Thai masseuses. Please share on any place that's still open.

There are now (probably Nigerian) scammers answering ads for needs on CL, stringing you along, then trying to get you to send money before meeting.

If you place ads there, it is best to find a way to get proof you are talking to a real person in Seoul. The time difference can make some of these easy to spot, also.

Since I am locked down due to Covid-19, I have time to read up ISG reports of the many countries / cities I regularly travel to. I have read 32 pages of the Seoul thread, as well as the "Other Areas" thread. I have visited S. Korea several times, the last time in 2015 when I also visited Busan (the RLD there was awesome). I go to Southeast Asia 2-3 times every year. BTW, I am Asian-American.

My first observation after reading: Why are some many of you, the best contributors to the thread, still regular members of ISG? You are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for an hour session. Can't you pay $20? You will be more valuable if you have PM capability. You will also financially help to support this wonderful website which is so valuable to us.

I have resolved to make South Korea (and maybe Japan too) my first trip as soon as I can travel. So keep up the good postings. Yes, those Southeast Asian girls are great and cheap, but there's something about a Korean girl, or maybe I am watching too much Korean videos.

I am one of the guys on CL (I know there are others, based on ads) trying to get action there. It's far worse than it was a year ago. The responses have been flaky.

I'm not into large or really large, which cut out 2/3 of the ladies working off of there. One was a huge, and I mean huge, black woman who had forearms thicker than my neck. No thanks. Another looked promising, but all I saw was her face -- a Latina who gave me her Kakao. She was really weird, and would send me a message wanting to set up a time, then not answer for half a day. I kept asking her for more of a pic than her face, or some very blurry distant photo that didn't show her true size, but she'd stop talking for half a day again, then suddenly message again and ignore that I'd asked for a photo. Growing sick of this, I finally asked if she was afraid to show a photo of her body for some reason. She got all frumpy and perturbed, then said, "Oh. Block!" So much for that. Another lady was also large, and not my type. She was from Egypt. She sent photos. I was honest, and said I'm not into larger girls, but she kept up an interesting conversation about her exploits here (she's crazy busy).

Another was mildly insane. Her photos and name matched her FB profile. She kept begging me for money and calling me Peter. I'm not sure why. She must have had action with some guy named Peter, who she begged to just send her 5 million won so she could get back to Canada and not have to sleep with a bunch of random guys for money. She would send me 5 messages in an hour. It left me thinking she was real and just a Nigerian scammer, because I decided to play it up and offer to give her money over lunch, but she kept citing reasons not to actually meet.

Otherwise, I just heard from people who either didn't get what I was asking for (you can't be too direct with CL posts, or they get blocked). One lady looked like Howard Stern (I'm not kidding) but had a good body. I checked her FB page, based on her name, and she was really religious. She was kind of dense, and just didn't get it what I was looking for. When I finally told her, she was in shock (haha). One of my ads asked for sponsorship. Some blonde chick got all pissy when I directly asked about sex, telling me, "You have no idea how sponsorship works. " Uhhh. You screw a guy for money and things. Would you do it for free? Yeah. I know how it works, babe. You're no better than a hooker, so don't pretend to be.

I'll wait a few weeks and keep trying.

I am planning to visit South Korea again as soon as I am allowed to travel. Unfortunately I live in the USA which has the worst pandemic. Almost every country has banned Americans from entering. Anyway, at least I have time to read up on ISG and prepare. I have read the Seoul thread on and off from 2013 and made notes. I start reading / researching when I think I am going to a place, and stopped until my next trip.

I have one question which don't seemed to be covered here or in the Seoul thread. ARE THE HOTELS IN SOUTH Korea GIRL-FRIENDLY? I know the Hiltons and the Marriotts are not. I am talking about the 3-Star & 4-Star hotels or mom-pop hotels. Has anyone had trouble with front desk or security when bringing a working girl into your room?

Try the Korean love hotels. Long back on a visit to South Korea had requested my principals to put me up at a much more livelier place than one arranged at a 5 star just outside city premises, in Taegu. These love hotels are there all over the country, and the ones manning the front desks are obliged to not even look at the faces of the guests. Just go, pay up through a small enclosure, receive keys from that gap only, and hightail with your companion to the room number allotted. I had stayed as a regular guest for 4 nights for the kink value! Yep, language issue had prevented any 'scoring'. Well, Korea of 20 years ago was quite different from what it is now, in communication's respect.

Took a gander around Cheonho for the first time, this week.

It seems I missed it? Is it almost entirely gone now? Per websites, I see it was located behind the 2001 outlet, but most of that entire area has been ripped-out for a new apartment. Near the back end of it, I saw about a row and a quarter of red-light windows, but they were mostly condemned. I walked all around, but couldn't find anything else. Is it pretty much gone, now? People made it sound like there was some more to it than that. Did I miss something? Thanks.

During my trip to seoul a couple of years back, I brought back girls every other night and I stayed in a few different hotels mostly around sinchon & hongdae (3* & 4* hotels) and none of them ever asked (not even the girl's ID if you check-in first and just ask the girl to come up to your room). Also, If you're meeting hookers, you could just take them to a pay by the hour motels that are all over the place (decent price and amenities).

What worked for me was being explicit about extras at the front desk and in the room.

All 3 places advertised as 24 h. Only one of them, that honestly looked too proper, didn't offer extras (but the massage was really good.

No one will know or care what you do while you're there. So all hotels are "girl friendly" by default. Enjoy.
