Luxxor is open and has been for about two weeks, the article was old!

After a trip to J town this weekend, I can confirm that Luxxor, Felinas, Princesas, Cuatro Reinas, Marisol, Genesis, and Michel are NOT closed. Tiffany and Mercedes ARE closed

With the closing of the downtown zona and its lingering death I thought at least the MPs would be a sure bet for relief. I guess I was wrong.

This is big news guys. The worst part of it is I suspect there will be no walled off, regulated zona like Nuevo Laredo and Acuña. All these closings and no nailed down plan for the new zona. Nothing but rumors and speculation. They seem to really want to clean up their image. But I wonder why the high class strip clubs seem to be immune, at least so far. And what about the ads in the classified section of El Diario? Will they be left untouched?

If SvtLord is correct it is a good sign that at least some of the MPs will continue to operate. But when did the raids take place, before or after SvtLord's visit? The news link says 12 May at 11:24pm which would tell me the raids happened Saturday and the article made it to print Sunday.

I hope this doesn't discourage us from returning to Juarez. We need to keep going down and act as scouts to verify closings and reopenings. I will likely head down Wednesday and hit a few MPs to see who is open but it would be a great help if others would join in the effort.

I would like to create a contact list and maintain it but with the hard hitting government shutting people down that would just put my dick in the wind more than it already is. Go hit up any Tijuana forum, thread or what ever and read about what happened to Sampson over there in TJ. The was running a website that was much more involved than mine. He was actually making contacts with putas and American clients and was busted by the Mexicans for prostitution and pandering. Besides, the ladies of Juarez change their cell phone numbers like they change their tangas. Forget the internet, I only know of one that was web savvy and now she is out of the picture.

Everytime I suggest getting an email address to a chica they always say its too difficult or too expensive to use an internet cafe but yet they spend money on fischas for their cell phones and burn through the minutes like nothing flat.

But in any case I am brainstorming trying to come up with ideas to deal with the current situation. If anyone has any ideas lets hear them. We need to be prepared or else wind up having to travel to other bordertowns for as long as they will last.

Ok, one recent report here said that when the Panama goes down, it will move to where the "Sleepy Iguana" or Casa Colorado is/was. The 4-10 club is right across the street, but on the "other" side of the alley. Who knows what is supposed to happen to it?

Av. Juarez also has establishments. Will they be left alone, which is what I am hearing, or will they, too, bite the dust?

All of this is very depressing, not to mention the MPs, to say the least. It sounds like the great "authorities" of Cd. Juarez simply do not want us to have fun anymore and they want these ladies to find factory jobs.

These ladies know they must eat, etc. , so it seems to me they have to go SOMEWHERE to make a living. After all, it is the world's oldest and highest paid profession, no? The posts I read say the Pink Ladies will not be affected, but they could sure raise their prices, not to mention the inconvenience of the "cabbies" who want their cut.

Maybe some of the girls will start moving to regular bars. If enough of a critical mass develops, word would get around and with enough ladies and mongers it could be sustainable. I've had waiters in clubs on Ave Juarez ask me if I wanted a girl.

Thats right, those 2 places you took me to on the avenida with those freelancers and "off duty" ladies. I think we should scout the possibilites this weekend and maybe spread the word to the ladies currently working.

I have considered giving "internet lessons" to those ladies that are interested. Maybe I will make that pitch again but they are just to ignorant but if they hear about it from more mongers then maybe they will see the importance of an email address.

OK. I can confirm that both Luxxor and Felinas are open and in full-service mode. Just had sessions at both today . . . and its only 2pm (Wed)

Stuart told me that they are playing around with the rules and certificates, but that everything was now fine. I came over from El Paso this morning and plan to spend the day exploring. Will write a more detailled report later. I have spent a lot of time in Mexico but this is only my 2nd visit to Juarez. But I enjoyed both these places and will return tomorrow if I can find the energy.

I am happy to report that the little campesinas at Cleo’s are still in operational mode though one cute eighteen-year-old newbie named Maria needs some coaching and an understanding that for your $35 there you get a CBJ along with FS. She didn’t try to up-sell it, just said she didn’t do oral. The potential is there for a good MPA if she can learn to loosen up a bit.

On the other side of Av. Juarez the word is that the demolition will be as far south as the Barre El Dorado in three to four weeks. The pinche waiters at Eduardo’s are all trying to squeeze the last diez centavos from passersby before the place sees the wrecking ball. Kinda nice to see the arrogance of most of them finally rewarded.

I just spent from 5/12 thru 5/17 in Juarez, mostly with a long time GF. But did get some run down on a couple things.

As of right now, girls in bars are not required to have a health card to work, that is supposed to change.

Girls working in bars will need a permission from the bar to take a salida with a client. (I don't know how they would enforce that one.)

MP girls will need a certificate for massage training, as well as for the prevention from contacting or spreading AIDS and other VDs.

I didn't get much of a chance to get out very much, but did visit Genesis on Saturday and Loryed on Tuesday, and Pink Ladies on Sunday night, for a short while.
