Twice I flew into Ljubljana and then used a Slovenian-based taxi service called Tuamv. You can book online, proved very reliable for me, cost about EUR 95 one way to Wellcum. Might be a better option than car rental if you plan to stay a while at The Hotel.
Unfortunately the local airline (Adria?) collapsed a few years ago, limiting the flight options.

There are also direct trains a few times a day from Udine direct to Arnoldstein, though being slow trains, its about the same as to which route is faster."
