Terax13:I've spent quite a bit of time in the area around Shinagawa Station (both sides, before and after the remodeling, including just a few days ago) and I have not seen any mongering areas or SW to speak of, but then I'm not looking for that sort of thing in that area. There are some hostess clubs on the east side of the station but nothing but hotels, restaurants and Sony on the west side. Maybe somebody else knows better but I would say that Shinagawa is a mongering wasteland, with the possible exception of the restaurant and club area on the east side. That area is getting quite a bit of development now because of the new bullet train stop there but I'd be really surprised if there were any hot spots around that area.As for Hatanodai, I can't really help you there, given that I rarely use those Tokyu lines.

Failed experience at Nishi-Kawaguchi. I went up there to check out the place. Was looking for that sox nine place, but I got an offer for FS for 10,000 yen from a tout in front of his shop. I'm not sure what kind of place it was, definitely not a soapland, kind of just a massage place fronting for a brothel. There was no massage, just fs. Unfortunately, I think some places save the ugliest girl for the foreigners. This girl was nice enough, but was missing 1 front tooth and was skinny like a crack *****. Hi,The train line runs in a north easterly direction going away from Tokyo, so for all intents and purposes the train is going north. So if you get off the train coming from Tokyo, face the direction the train is traveling and head towards your left. Of course, do the opposite if coming from Mito on the Joban line.With the rest of the information provided I hope we have cleared this up sufficiently.Have fun.

Homer,There are lots of este and other shops in Nishi Kawaguchi. I belive it's all on the west side of the station, just take the west exit and wander around, you'll see several shops. Or check out that sox nine post from last week, theres a decent map on it. As far as knowing Japanese goes, I'm not sure since I spoke Japanese but that did not seem to be an issue. He was very eager to get my money. I suppose if you were able to communicate that you wanted to see the girl first, it may be possible, but I think they were just showing photos -- the girl I got was not nearly as cute as the girls in the photos.Next time I'll ask to see her first.
