Nothing to do with Manila.
We know that we all satisfy the gfs. But did you ever think whether you left the wife hot and breathless? LOL.

Cheap eats / digs malate / ermita
I need to find the cheapest cleanest place in walking distance of Robinsons Mall. I am amazed at the lack of cheap options in Manila compared to a city like Cebu or Davao.
Manila is the big city in phils, and you pay more. Get used to that. However there are plenty of cheap options, especially pensione houses (many have aircon) , that are sub-p1000.
The Duck Inn, on Del Pilar street, between Padre Faura and A Flores streets. 1-2 blocks over to Mabini for Cowboy Grill. Good basic room (get the Superior, the Standard room is too small). Restaurant downstairs (aussie foods I think; not cheap) , and they have live band several nights / week. Breakfast is not included. Room has a safety box. No elevator.
Across the street is Hobbit House, and half a block up to corner Faura / Del Pilar is Super-Six, an open-air resto / bar with live band 6 nights / week. Beers here are p60; I took girls there several nights for live band and food. A plate of pancit to split was p130. Also Super-Six has a nightly dinner buffet for p199 (all you can eat) , which inludes the drink (juice or ice tea). Its a widely diverse buffet, and the price is hard to beat, from the time the bands start (about 7pm) to 10:30pm. For 'eat-all-you-can', it doesn't get any cheaper than this. This place is one block from G-Point Cafe on Faura. I'd take a girl to Super-Six, order Pancit, have 3 drinks each, and walk away light about p500, an amazingly cheap date.

Standard rooms are Php. 1,300 per night.
Superior room Php. 1,400 per night.
Deluxe room Php. 1,600 per night.
1) How much is a taxi at say 11-12am from Malate to Quezon City and The Fort?
About p160 at midnight. 200+ daytime. Gents, is that about right?
Well, any recommendations on good cheap eats in Malate or cheap budget lodging options in Malate let me know. I am excited! Did 6 women in 4 days on last trip. Aiming for 25+ this go around.
Cheap eats. On Pedro Gil, directly across from Robinson's Place mall, is a Eurotel hotel. Careful traffic on Pedro Gil, especially in the evening, the jeepneys / taxis clog pedro gil. Using this as a reference:
Come out of Eurotel, turn right on Pedro Gil. Immediately next door is a small restaurant with average prices. Walk another door and there is one of those Chicken Bacolod places. Chicken bbq sticks, rice / veg, drink is under p200. Next door to that is 7-11 for convenience foods.
Come out of Eurotel, turn left, walk to the first intersecting street (Bocobo I think). Turn left. Go half a block and on the left is a small plaza full of restaurants (average prices, about p300 for a meal). Across the street at night from that place is a street bbq vendor: dirt cheap foods. I think I paid p15 / stick of pork bbq, rice was p20. It doesn't get any cheaper than this. Keep walking up Bocobo street, cross Malvar street and you are in korea-town. Lots of KTV's and inexpensive restaurants. On the left is a kind of casa with pretty girls sitting out front with touts.
Come out of Eurotel, turn left, walk two blocks to the corner of Pedro Gil / Adriatico (Robinson's on your right). Turn right on Adriatico (mall still on your right) and walk one block to the intersection of Saldado street, or one more block to Salas street. Turn left on either Saldado or Salas. From this point, its two blocks over to Del Pilar and Manila Bay Cafe. On this two-block walk on Salas, on your left, are two separate hole-in-the wall restaurants. This is where the locals eat. Prices for all foods are printed on the wall. I was shocked at how cheap the foods were. A plate of sisig, a bbq pork stick, rice and juice was p120. You will be the only white guy sitting there, but I didn't care. Also a warning: Salas street is not for the feint of heart, day or night (especially at night). Salas and Saldado are very dark at night, and they bottleneck; walking the sidewalks can be tricky, and walking the street even moreso. This is a gritty area.
From the corner of Pedro Gil / Adriatico, turn left on Adriatico. Walking about 4 blocks, pass many hotels, KTV's, and restaurants. Get to Bedrock bar (good food, drinks, live band nightly. Sometimes 2 per night, alternating) , but prices are a little higher here.
All of these places are within about 5 blocks of Eurotel hotel. These pics aren't the best (taken at night outdoors) , but they are taken from the top of the steps at Eurotel on Pedro Gil.
